Dont wait till last minute...vent...

I am going to wdw from 8-22 to 8-30 with DH, DM, DD5....

We will be tight in POFQ so I thought I would get an extra room for
2 nights so Hubby and I could get some alone time....
My parents are living with us while their house gets work done...

Well...nothing available...
I wanted 8-27 and 8-28.....Yikes...nevermind no passholder rates....
NOTHING AVAILABLE....just SSR....

Does anyone have experience with things opening up last minute....
should I keep trying....or give it up

Check again at the 5-day cancellation day. Also, keep trying while you are there - people may arrive and then cahnge resorts .... anyway let them know you would like a second room for a couple of nights - I find the resort manager can do things on site that the resssie folks cannot.

Did you try Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity? I always find availability there, when Disney has none.

Definitely keep trying - especially the week before - try calling several times a day, if possible. We've sometimes snagged a room when we've sort of last minute decided we wished we'd booked at another resort .

Keep trying to jump on a cancellation - they happen all the time!

Gone are the days of plenty of room availability and great room discounts. It looks like I'm barely going to get what I want for December, and I'm paying a lot more than I was three years ago.

Keep trying. This past March I knew we wanted to stay and extra night before we ever left home. I kept checking every single day and nothing at CBR was available. At check-in I asked the CM is we could extend our stay an extra night....she looked in the computer a few moments and said "SURE". The only problem was that we couldn't add dining to that room, as it was a room only reservation.

BTW....I tried to change title in thread to say update....
But when I go to edit.....it only lets me edit post....not title...
How do you edit title of thread.

To change the title of the thread, click on edit, then advanced I had to figure that one out too!
