Don't touch that! I need a picture first! TR - **NEW 04/17 PTR IS UP

Great Update Jen !!! Hey if you guys find those pretzel breads before the 15th !! a samlple would be nice !! No seriously I'd buy some !!! Now Jen are you encouraging me to look for more Hot Italians:rotfl2:I think I am supposed to find characters to LapDance with now !!:rotfl2::rotfl2: Hey maybe I can Lap Dance with a Hot Italian !!!!:cloud9:

Wow, what a F&W! My bestfriend and her boyfriend spent over $100 between the two of them!!! I'm surprised you guys tried so little. But then, Bubba probably knew exactly what she wanted from last year.

Haha, of COURSE you would never ask your sister to buy you alcohol as an underaged kid......

What a session! It was pretty cheap though, so the quality really shows. Sucks you didn't have a good time with it.

So many lessons! Which really reminds me to keep on track with my TR theme.......

Those of us reading your trip report are very pleased the the camera came through okay!

No disagreements there! I'm glad Bubba noticed!

Hey maybe I can Lap Dance with a Hot Italian !!!!:cloud9:

:rotfl:

First stop was Greece where we tried the Spanakopita (I think that's what it was called). It was similar to a samosas with spinach and cheese.

2h3c2uu.jpg

GASP! EEK! SHUDDER! THE HORROR! How dare Bubba touch that before I took the picture! Shame, shame.

I think this picture is perfect with the fork pushing down into the phillo pastry. It shows how crisp yet light and delicate the Spanakopita was.

Your pictures are terrific, and I'm enjoying your TR.

Hope to read you soon...:surfweb:

You didn't!! You got Groovy Chick just for me!!! :worship::lmao: Doesn't she just rock?? I swear, if I ever get to a MNSSHP, I'm going as her!!

OMGosh, Jen!!! I learned the lesson of camera protection on my trip too!! It was almost a complete $100 disaster!! I'd rather lose just about anything besides my pictures!!!

That tasting sounded like a complete dud!! I'm so sorry for you guys that you had to endure a company's shameless plug instead of getting a real tasting! BOOOOOOOO!! Hope your prosecco more than made up for it! :thumbsup2

Sergio is my least favorite WS entertainer. He's funny for about 3 minutes. WHich is also about as long as I can take Off Kilter, as well.

Hi Jen! Just got all caught up on your report, loving it so far!

Hello and :welcome:

I can't wait to try Via Napoli, I know exactly what you mean about real Italian pizza, yummy!

You are going to love it! Especially the hot Italian servers ;)

I would have died if that had happened with my camera!

It was my nightmare coming true! Suprisingly, I didn't panic in the moment. You'd thing someone would with their nightmare coming true. I think I was so caught up with just getting out of Epcot that I didn't realize the true reality of what could have happened.

Wow, lots of lessons learned in this chapter, Jenbear! :teacher:

I know! I kinda suprised myself once I listed them all out like that.

That's Sergio.

Ohhhhhh. Okay. I didn't even know he had a name :confused3

I don't know...sounds like something illegal.

What are you talking about, illegal? I would never do such a thing

What the heck! Wasn't she the one who wasn't hungry?!

:rotfl2: You're absolutely right. She seemed so eager to try it though.

A-ha! I knew it!

It's all lies I tell you. LIES!

Yes they are! I wish they'd sell french fries (actually Belgian) and mayonnaise. Mmmmmm.

There's actual Belgian french fries? Yuck! You're one of THEM who like mayo on their fries! :crazy2:

You should have tried the move I did at American Idol...just kind of look like you don't know what you're doing, can't decide on a row, and let other people go ahead of you.

You're a genius! Why didn't I think of that?! Very cunning Glenn.

:rotfl2: Don't hold back, what did you really think?

:rotfl: Now that I read it again, it's pretty blunt isn't it?

Noted....it was Bubba's fault.

Always

Those of us reading your trip report are very pleased the the camera came through okay!

You better be! All this picture taking is for you guys....and well my benefit too :rolleyes1

Jen, all that food and drink looked delicious.

It was. I don't think we disliked one thing we tried (well minus Bubba with the Spanikopita)

One of my aunts makes something like that. I'll have to ask her. It is delicious.

I'd love to know how to make those.

How much older is Bubba?

She is 2 and a half years older than me :goodvibes

Did not know that about the screen, but I will definitely remember it for next time. Though I might just stick with the tip about requesting B1.

I would definitely request more to the middle. Especially if you've been waiting in line for an hour only to get motion sick from the experience.

Glad to hear you liked this, it's one of the things I'm most excited to try!

It was really yummy. The only reason I wanted to try it was that I saw a lot of people all around eating it. Thought it looked really good!

I am the weird teen who doesn't drink. Ever. But I really want to try the Grand Marnier slush from France that everybody raves about. I think I have convinced Mom to buy it for me next time we go. And really, I'll be just under 6 months shy of being 21. :rolleyes1 (I also hear the cherry bacardi slush thing from the Puerto Rico booth is pretty good, but we'll see.)

You're not weird for drinking. That's just peer pressure talking. You drink if you feel like it. I'm in my 20s and hate going to clubs. I stopped going to clubs when I was 19. I'd rather watch a good movie or read than get drunk. Yeah, I'm a nerd and proud of it! I STILL haven't tried the Grey Goose slushie, which I wanted to try over the last three trips. Don't make the same mistake and get your Mom to get it for you. It's totally legal. What's 6 months?

I'm happy to hear the gift card worked so well, because I just bought this year's wrist strap one off ebay to give to my mom for Christmas! :thumbsup2 (Yes, I know there will be new ones next year, but I want tangible proof that we're going!)

I didn't know they sold these on ebay. How much do they go for? I hope they're free! Or come with the amount that you paid for already loaded on to it. I'm sure your mom will love having the wristband. Makes life so much easier!

Oh my gosh that all sounds awful. :scared1: So glad it didn't turn out to be that much of a disaster!

Me too. My life would have ended right there. I could see no reason to go on.

Myself or Yuki will definitely bring you some! Rosie, we both know you're on the hunt for hot italians. I'm just giving you a little boost is all :rotfl2: Maybe next time you should give me your number so I can give it to all the guys I see :rotfl2:

Wow, what a F&W! My bestfriend and her boyfriend spent over $100 between the two of them!!! I'm surprised you guys tried so little. But then, Bubba probably knew exactly what she wanted from last year.

$100! Sadly I didn't have that kind of money to spend on food alone. If that was the case, then I could totally see myself doing that. Bubba was pretty familiar to the whole thing. She was also trying to pinch pennies this trip and watch her weight so we didn't go as crazy.

Haha, of COURSE you would never ask your sister to buy you alcohol as an underaged kid......

Like I said, I would never do anything like that

What a session! It was pretty cheap though, so the quality really shows. Sucks you didn't have a good time with it.

You get what you pay for. You're absolutely right. The other seminars were the same price too. Were they equally as bad? If I ever go for F&W again, I want to do a Culinary Demo. They look so much more interesting. One was actually taking place while we waiting for our seminar to start. It looked really interesting. Almost exactly like the cooking shows on tv.

So many lessons! Which really reminds me to keep on track with my TR theme.......

I knew someone had that theme in their TR. I just couldn't remember who! I'm sure you can beat me in my lessons learned.

No disagreements there! I'm glad Bubba noticed!

I don't know how she noticed either. The place was so loud with music and fireworks going off. So glad she has acute hearing.

I think this picture is perfect with the fork pushing down into the phillo pastry. It shows how crisp yet light and delicate the Spanakopita was.

You really think so? I mean, yeah I totally told Bubba to do that for the picture :rolleyes1 Hey, you're new around here aren't you? Must give you the proper welcome! :welcome:

Your pictures are terrific, and I'm enjoying your TR.

Thanks! I hope you enjoy the rest :goodvibes

You didn't!! You got Groovy Chick just for me!!! Doesn't she just rock?? I swear, if I ever get to a MNSSHP, I'm going as her!!

Yup, I did it just for you :cutie: I know she's your idol :rotfl2: I would LOVE to see that costume!!!

OMGosh, Jen!!! I learned the lesson of camera protection on my trip too!! It was almost a complete $100 disaster!! I'd rather lose just about anything besides my pictures!!!

Yikes! $100?! I don't think my old thing is worth that much. But to get a new one... I'd have to drop $100 for sure. So I guess in a way it is worth that much. I swear I am nothing without my camera on vacation. It's like losing a piece of memory. My long term memory is the worst! I would never remember what I eat or the order I do things! The horror!!!!

That tasting sounded like a complete dud!! I'm so sorry for you guys that you had to endure a company's shameless plug instead of getting a real tasting! BOOOOOOOO!! Hope your prosecco more than made up for it!

You know what, that drink was probably better than all those three wines! I liked the white wine we tried but it wasn't anything to write home about.

Sergio is my least favorite WS entertainer. He's funny for about 3 minutes. WHich is also about as long as I can take Off Kilter, as well.

Now that I've seen his antics, I probably don't need to watch him again. We saw him again during the trip and noticed he was doing the same gag. I could see that getting old pretty fast. I'm suprised they don't get him to switch it up a bit.

.I didn't know they sold these on ebay. How much do they go for? I hope they're free! Or come with the amount that you paid for already loaded on to it. I'm sure your mom will love having the wristband. Makes life so much easier!

I bought it for 99 cents, plus shipping. We'll just have to load the money onto it when we get there. I haven't seen too many other ones there though. A lot of the F&WF stuff is guidemaps or wine glasses.

Well I suppose 99 cents won't break the bank.

Um, you were the one who told us...

No I wasn't. What are you talking about offic--I mean, Glenn.

It's wonderful. Different than our mayo from a jar somehow.

Oh really? Are you sure it's not tzatiziki sauce or something?

Don't play dumb with me....'cause you'll lose!

Wow What a Friend you are Jen !!!Pretzel Bread and Hot Italians !! my number is 1 800 LUV GRAM:rotfl2: Thinks to self what if that is a real NUMBER:confused3:lmao::lmao:

Your seminar really sounds rather dull... I had been thinking about wether I want to do any of these seminars on my next trip, but wasn't really convinced that this is the way I want to spend my time at WDW - I think I rather will use the additional time for more time at DTD or at a Water Park. And your experience was rather helpful for me! :goodvibes

Belgian Waffles are very delicious! :cloud9: They should be more compact than your normal waffle, I think they are made with a yeast dough. But Glenn is right, Belgian fries are even better! Belgians are a bit annoyed by the term "french fry" because it was the Belgians, not the French who invented them! And their mayo on the fries is delicious. This one stand in Brussels even had 20 different type of mayos on offer... Generally, Belgians supposedly have amongst the best food in Europe. If you want to eat very well at reasonable prices in a friendly atmosphere (and where people easily understand you when you speak English), go to Brussels. It is a great place!! Some pretty bulidings and delicious chocolate also help quite a bit...

I did some digging in the boards sear engine and came up with one possible pretzel bread supplier:

Bäckerhaus Veit

It looks a real German bakery. Is that close to any of you?

I'm glad to help! At least one's suffering does not have to be endured by another.

Brussels. I'll keep that in mind the first time I visit England... if I ever get there.

That's awesome! It's really close by actually. I will definitely be visiting this bakery. Perhaps I'll see if it's open tonight after work :scratchin

Oooh!!! Let us know what you find please! I'll be going to the farmer's market to look for it this coming thursday

Aw poop. They're only open Mon-Fri. Perhaps I'll try on Monday. Those pretzels look mighty delectable!

Oooh!!! Let us know what you find please! I'll be going to the farmer's market to look for it this coming thursday

Oh good! I hope you get a good bounty full of yummy goodness!

I'll be waiting!

Me too!! We are expected a full blown report!! :lmao:

Did you see that there stuff is also available in some stores according to their website?

Oh boy. What have I got myself into. Yes, I noticed that. It doesn't specify stores though does it?

I can't understand putting mayo on fries, whether Belgian or "French". I like them with mustard.

Mustard huh? Hm....I like mustard...

My DBF likes to eat fries with mayo.

I prefer sour cream!
