Don't stand so close to me...

You guys are totally grossing me out!

On the subject of wearing pants.. There was a girl at the park in line for strollers and she was wearing a long shirt that was white and completely see through. She had on a thong and no bra and evrytime she bent over you could see... Well, it's not something that I want my kids, or even my DH to see. She was a hot chick, tall, tan, enhanced and every eye was on her, but there are a lot of kids at the park and she was more suited for a strip club.

  NEW CLASSIFICATION!!!

24. The Boogeyman - You'd expect to find these folks mining for gold in Frontier Land but they're widespread. Their exploration (and examination, eeeew) is usually out in the open for all to witness. Once you see where they put them when they're done you'll be reaching for the Purel and demanding your kids keep their hands in their pockets. It's a little known fact that 47% of Disneyland is covered with boogers. Think twice before letting your kids play with the chain while waiting in line and never hold the handrail.
Unfortunately some of us are older than most patrons and have to use the handrails for support/stability.

Jack

Sometimes we have a contest to see who can go the longest without touching the railings in lines, everyone thinks they will win but then 5-10 minutes later you forget and boom.. your out! It's harder than it sounds.

how old was this girl wearing the minnie costume??

She was a teenager, at least 17 or 18. She was there with friends and she was only one wearing a Minnie Mouse costume. Well past the *allowed* age. When we first saw her we were pin trading with a CM and the CM said she needed to pants on.....my girls heartily agreed and CM high fived them and then us for "raising responsible intelligent girls who will wear real clothes in public" :rotfl:

Pin trading is pricey, but we've met some really nice people that way. We've met some really rude people but most of them are really nice. :goodvibes

yeah, its kinda hard to enforce many disney rules. :\

For one, im really tired of those kids in heelies. "technically" your not allowed to wear it into disneyland but theres no really way to stop them. I actually had a parent get mad at me for her kid running into my cart because the kid had heelie on.

Albort: I was wondering about that--had heard they weren't allowed but saw lots of kids with them on when I was there on Saturday--

I know I speak for more than just me when I say I would like Disney to enforce the rules! I'm sure they are there for a reason . . . . like safety?

It's hard enough to keep the Locomotives in the smoking areas. They have to pick their battles.

Personally, I just quickly block the path when those kids try to roll by. If they run into me they will find a nice place on the ground behind me. "OOPS! I didn't see you rolling towards me on wheels."

They say, "Lead, follow or get out of the way." I obstruct!

i dont know why its not enforced, but often when someone reports something to me, i feel really useless as im not sure what to do. Just remember, a lot of guest think they are royality If we tell them this, they dont always listen and just shrug it off as we have no way to stop them either.

Theres a lot of things that offend me but really, there isnt much i can do about it. even if someone comes and tells me, i dont have the power to stop them either.

Uh oh. Be careful or you will be attacked by other board members because you are saying you're going to inflict pain on guests at Disneyland. HAHAHA! ;)

My children will not be wearing those stupid shoes with wheels.

another thing i want to mention is many of us just dont have the time either. Many of us who are actually walking around are heading to take our breaks and lunches. I was giving breaks to my listed carts when i was approached by a lady saying there is this drunkin guy that should be kicked out of the park. This is on New Years Eve and i was already behind due to the heavy crowding, i cant watch him, i cant find security, its really out of my control. i just have to let it go and hope she will tell someone with a phone or security.

Albort may correct me but I believe the best people to bug if you can't find security, which can be hard from time to times, would be the staff in the shops since they have the ability to call security while the cart vendors cannot. I think the custodial staff can also get somebody to help as well via their two way radios.

This may bring about a new classification. I have noticed people griping to Disney employees that should not be griped to. The poor guy selling churros or ice cream can't really do anything for you and will likely forget your complaint as soon as you walk away. I guess these people fall into the "Grouch" category since you don't really have to be up in arms at City Hall to be a "Grouch."

I feel you Albort...by the way I look for you every trip but have yet to see you! I think YOU wear an invisibility cloak! :rotfl: Can't they give you guys walkies or something, so you can call security? I mean what do you do if you see someone taking something from a stroller that isn't theirs? Nothing? Doesn't make sense to me........ if you guys had walkies you could at least call security. I complained to a CM once about a guy wearing a shirt that was highly rude and inapproriate and nothing was done, I was actually quite irritated that the CM didn't do anything, they guy had a sweatshirt, at the very least he should have been told to put it on. It IS a family park, I really don't care for my kids to see that he loves big fake **** kwim?

I hate heelies too, my girls hate them too. They think it's terribly rude of kids to fly past on heelies and they are not quiet about it. They Minnie Me's for sure...and yes, I am quite proud of that. :woohoo:

I think I'm going to start making more socially acceptable shirts for people who wish to let people know what they love.

His shirt could have read;
"I prefer a prominent bust line."

haha, i actually changed jobs recently so you wont find me anymore on carts... :)
What CAN we do though, really, we do have radios now but often its so busy on it, we dont have time to trail them as by the time security is noted, they are long gone. We tell people this but they tend to not listen to me. Its funny actually, sometimes they come ask us a question, I tell them and they believe they know the answer already and doesnt believe what im saying. Oh well, snooze you lose. ^_^

I actually did call in once watching a father allow his 10 year old kid drink magarita(kid looks beyond drunk), but by the time security come, (20-30 min later) i just know the direction he went and thats it.

So Albort, where are you working now? Still in the parks?

your best possibility in finding me now is if your staying at Paradise pier hotel or Grand California and using a binocular and looking into DCA or DIsneyland... :D
