Don't speed inside Disney...Sheriff cars all over!

Hi...just back from a fun 10 days in Disney area...

A couple of observations:

1. Lots of folks being pulled over for speeding inside Disney by Osceola County Sheriff Cars...must have been a problem and Disney has asked the Sheriff to get involved....so drive that rental car at the posted speeds!!!

2. Test Track "singles line" is really fast!! and two of us got the same car, just not the same row...

3. Soarin is very busy....and very cool...not very long, but cool!

4. Father Christmas in Engand is absolutely great.

5. The "beatles" in England are all new and need some fine tuning!

6. Do not miss the holiday Illuminations at EPCOT....what a finale!!!!

Hi, I am not sure...but Disney does "Christmas" through New Years...so I would check when you get to England...good luck....hope he is still around!!!

Disney was having a large problem with people (mostly CM's) speeding on property. They asked Orange and Osceola County Sheriffs to patrol the resort. They can nearly always be found on Epcot Center Drive and World Drive. They give most people (myself included) a written warning. However if you appear to be a CM they assume you should no the speed limit and will give you a ticket.

I also guess it would be going overboard to ask the sheriff to fold the ticket like a towel animal so i could keep it as a souveneir?

...hehe... I love the "Disney Dollars" comment.

I know a couple of the Orange County Officers. I'll ask them next time I run into them ( by choice... or otherwise).

Osceola County is just the "Animal Kingdom / WWS" area of property. Everything else is in Orange County. Occasionally they do have FHP on property too.

I totally agree about Test Track! When we were there, it was quicker than the fast pass line!

We tried to do Soarin', but the fast pass times were too late and the lines were too long. Hopefully, we will be going back in the next week or so and can try it out.
