My friend is in Orlando and posted a pic of her drinking a butterbeer, looked kinda sunny.

I don't know if this has ever been done before....... in all my years on the DIS, I've never seen it mentioned. I always order from Garden Grocer for our trips - water, milk, snacks, etc.; but as it's just me and DH this time and we're only there for 4 days, we really don't need $40 worth of food (minimum order $40).

Would anybody arriving next week on the 15th (or any time during the week I guess) be interested in going in on an order? Then we could even split the delivery fee and tip? Especially with the bottled water - the best deal is a 32-case but we don't need 32 bottles of water for the 2 of us, lol. We're arriving by noon on the 15th so I would accept the order, then we could make arrangements depending on if you're already there or arriving later or the next day or whatever. Doesn't matter how much how much stuff you order, could be any amount. I probably only need to spend about $25, so would need someone to spend at least $15.

Yes, you can ask housekeeping for additional hangers.

Wow...what a memory Dee! Did you jot that down or take a picture (after measuring the size of the room safe haha)!? Seriously...We are so lucky to have you as the owner and 'keeper' of this thread!!

Sorry I didn't get close-ups of the wine. Family mortified at all of the pictures I took- they didn't really understand that it was for "important research"

Fortunately us members of your DisBoard family have a much greater appreciation for the importance of your research.

I don't know why they can't understand the incredible need we all have for close-up pictures of EVERYTHING!

Does anyone know approximately how many hangers are in the closet? Can you request more from housekeeping? I usually pack wire ones and leave them there but luggage space is precious since we have to pay to check our bags now.

I asked for Housekeeping to bring up an additional 18 hangers, which they did with out blinking an eyelash. I forgot to ask for Johnny Depp to bring them up to the room so let that be a lesson to the rest of you.....

We are starting to make some plans for next summer and right now have decided on YC. I was wondering if anyone knows about a refurb for the resort next year? I heard that the BC was getting one maybe starting in Nov.

This could change our minds if they are still working on the YC in June.

We're arriving at YC in a few days and were wondering if they had the new RFID refillable mugs for sale? If so, is anyone aware of price and design/colours? My girls love the mugs and keep asking about what may be there. They're really hoping for something new. Thanks!

Finally here & checked in. Some issues but not gonna worry.

Weather = HOT, std Fla. Cleared up.

Beer choices, saw Sam Adams boxes & I think yingling (sp) bottles get wheeled into club before.

Ah, sipping first sunken sitting at pool, bit more breeze be even better. Bartender said getting more req's lately, told him about the boards.

probably! we arrive 8/17 (my ticker is a day off; we added a day) and definitely want some wine and water, maybe even snacks. we have ordered from GG before and they were great, so no issues there. i have some other crazy work stuff going on right now, so if you could possibly give me through the weekend, i will let you know! thank you!

you just made me. SO. HAPPY. i do not like chardonnay- my favorite wine is sauvignon blanc. pinot grigio is the closest to that. i always suck it up and drink chardonnay on my CL WDW trips but there is light at the end of the tunnel- i may actually have pinot grigio on my trip! yay!!!

We don't really know that much either, other than:

The BC will undergo room renovations starting next year. Probably January, but could be later.

Concierge Lounge will be renovated and expanded first, with the CL moving to the Presidential suite while work is going on.

Rooms on 5th floor will be worked on next, then each floor will be worked on.

YC will probably be worked on after the BC work is done, but we don't have a time table.

I doubt the work at the YC will start by June 2014, but I really don't know.

I haven't heard any reports of the new RFID mugs appearing at YC/BC yet. Are they being used at any of the other resorts yet?

It's not just the children who need to realize how important my research and photographic evidence is!!!

Actually, my youngest son Ben totally gets it and even helped take some pictures in the lounge for me while we were checking in.
