I have to share a story that only you guys will "get".....

Last wk my husband texted me that he got a .30 cent/hr raise at work which is awesome. So of course I had to calculate it for the the year. It came out to $694/yr extra, so when he got home from work I told him it would cover an AP. he said "does everything in your mind revolve around disney?," and of of course I told him "yes".... So come AP renewal time I'll be set... Lol

I do the same thing all the time.

Two sleeps until I am "home." Hoping I will actually sleep. We are mostly packed, but need an extra suitcase. Trying to fit four people's clothes for 10 days in two suitcases just didn't work out. Just trying to decide if we want to give our DD a light carry-on with wheels or pay the extra fee to ship an additional suitcase. Decisions, decisions. Hope that everyone who is there now or headed there soon has a great time!

You can add us to the BOG list. We are heading down 8/15-8/24. Our first night will be at CSR and then we will switch to YC for 8 nights. Can't wait!!

Yes, as indicated above, all BC rooms do have some sort of balcony, and that includes club level. Actually, club level has a higher percentage of full balconies to the regular ones, so the odds are ever in your favor.

There is at least one room at BC on the second floor that has NO balcony. We had this room last year. It was on top of a roof, to the left was where the ME bus dropped off and picked up. The room was very close to the stairs and elevators.

I was shocked that there was no type of balcony there!!

Ditto! It's all I can do NOT to spend my raise and merit bonus on an AP right now when there are pesky things like student loans and car payments. They tend to get mad at you when you miss payments but I don't see why they can't understand that WDW takes priority.

And BTW Couchy I was away from this thread for a while and am appalled to read about your accident. I am so glad you're ok, if not a little worse for the wear, and your dogs weren't hurt. Wishes, pixie dust and prayers your way for a speedy recovery!!!

It has been announced that all the refrigerators at the Beach Club have been replaced.

The Tikiman posted on his FB page today that "Just wanted everyone to know that was worried about refrigerators that I got a report from Disney that they completed refrigerator replacement at the Polynesian, Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club and Animal Kingdom Lodge."

The scuttle butt on the fridges is that the replacement fridges were spotted in the hallways at the YC/BC a couple of days ago (or longer) I'm taking this to mean that the bulk of the fridges have been replaced or the replacement is eminent.

Are the new fridges big enough to hold those giant boxes of wine? Mrs. Buzzy haa gotten very interested in them now that back to School shopping is in full swing. Outfitting hundreds of larva with school clothes and shoes (Oh, God the shoes alone are KILLING me, 3 pair for each larva!!) is taking it's toll on her sanity and a couple of dozen Maraschino cherries just isn't taking the edge off anymore.

Ohhh, that is a good point!!! And since "fall" is just around the corner, a nice red is just what the doctor ordered!!!

Next week at this time we should be driving thru one of the Carolina's...!

I am a little stressed though, I can start to get weather reports for my trip and its saying 60% chance of rain for both Fri and Sat
I know its Florida, and I expect rain in the afternoon in August, but when I think 60% I think rain from the minute we go outside til we come back. And I want to enjoy SAB!

Or...I am just having flashbacks of when we went in May 09 and it rained all day everyday!!! I think Orlando got 6inches in that week alone!!!!
