Can you please add me to the Be Our Guest section?

BCV Sept 4-10 (10th anniversary)

:welcome:

Will do!!!

:cool1:

Can you update my details on 'Be Our Guest' please as I've now changed.

I've switched from YC to BC GV CL as I loved it so much there last year, only thing is I know there's going to be refurb going on but I'm going to look past that just to get back to my 'happy place' :thumbsup2

Dates are 8-15 May 2014, can't wait :cool1:

Glad to!

:thumbsup2

We will be checking in to BC on the 22nd! I AM SO EXCITED!!! Our last trip was at YC Dec 2011. Iam so overdue for my WDW fix! Kids have already packed :rotfl: Hope it's not too crowded. :crowded:

:welcome:

I'll add you to the list.

:woohoo:

Would like to added to the Be Our Guest section. This is our first time at Yacht Club :cool1:

This is also our baby boy's first trip to the world - come trip time, he will be 8 months old!

Nov 9-12.

:welcome:

I'll add you to the list

:goodvibes

T- 4 days, and I feel like I have a million things to do. Haven't slept well the last two nights either as I've been thinking about my to-do list. Really looking forward to our visit. I hope to have time (and a good connection) to post some updates when we are in Florida.

Please note that if you haven't provided exact dates, you will be at the top of the list for that month.

Post 15: Be Our Guest list

Let me know if you see something that should be changed.

Thanks!

Our BC stay is almost here! :cheer2:

We leave tomorrow morning, road-tripping down to WDW, arriving on Wednesday for our BC stay. We cannot wait!
I am picking up my son from his college program and looking forward to spending a couple of days all together (minus dh-he has to work).
All four kids will get to hang out together and relax after a LONG summer of lots of working for everyone. :grouphug:

First time at BC and first stay in the summer ;)

From looking at the Be Our Guest list - You are not alone! Many of us feel like Santa checking our list twice, filling the "Florida" room (as mentioned before) with stuff you don't want to forget. Getting anxious with worries and excitement. My mouse on MDE says 3 days to go!

As for the connection, you should be ok sometimes. I have Sprint and I don't think they have proper capacity in some areas at DW. The Disney wifi is fine in the resorts, but I've not had the best luck in the parks. Hopefully they improve both. I did see my Sprint seemed a bunch better over by the Contemporary/Fort Wilderness last time.

I normally work Mondays so they just assumed I would be there. Surprise, I'm checking in on Monday. Not sure if we'll be doing SAB after dinner. We'll be there when it opens every morning, leave around 2-3 PM, nap, then 5 PM dinner each night. Tonight is dinner at Cape May ... after which Lily will probably be hanging around in the lobby with all her CM friends.
Teena you have a great time with Princess Lily and as luck would have it I will be coming back to the BC at the end of September :cool1: It was so good to see you again and I have so much to tell you about my DGD Ava's first trip to DW it was awesome . I hope Bob is doing well he was still pretty swollen and sore when we last spoke :)

Thanks Dee for adding me to the BOG list :thumbsup2 I can not wait :beach:

UGGHHHH.... Bad news. Very bad news. No SAB for me, no BC for me:(
I was hit by a car while walking my dogs today. Me and the pups were quietly minding our own business and crossing the street in the crosswalk with the signal when a car came roaring down the street and turned right, right into me:furious::scared:
I am resting comfortably in my hospital bed in my highly fashionable hospital gown. I have 2 broken ribs, multiple gashes and abrasions, and a deep bone bruise on my femur. The puppies are thankfully fine, but DH called and cancelled our reservation :sad1:

We did reschedule 10/31-11/3 BC GV but I am still so disappointed. I was so looking forward to this trip. Oh well, it was one of those days...

I will now start planning for our Food and Wine trip :goodvibes

OMG.... That's horrible! Wishing you a speedy recovery :flower3:

I'm just getting on after a few days away from the boards. Couchy, I am so sorry for your terrible accident. Thank God you survived what must of been a terrifying experience!

Just think how happy you will be that you have an October trip coming up when the last day of your original August trip has come and gone!!

Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!

Jay

Natebenma- I usually use an ECV, issues with one of my legs, and I know that you've done a lot of the tours. Do you know if the Keys to the Kingdom tour allows ECV's? I'd love to see the utilidors!!!! I looked at the tour website and nothing was mentioned.

Do you remember seeing any wheel chairs or ECV's?

I actually have not done any tours, but I would love to.

Nannette has done quite a few and I know there are others on this boards who have done various tours, so I am sure they can give you some input.

Hope you are able to do it!

:sad2: how terrifying. But glad you'll be ok and wasn't more serious. I hope the person stopped to help you. Glad puppies are unharmed. And you now havevF&W to look forward to. :grouphug: get well soon.

Just getting or trying to get caught up, and was very sad to see your post.

Less than 2 weeks to go! My kids know we are going to Toronto, but not when, and do not know about Disney. Unfortunately we have a beastly layover as a result of us coming from opposite ends of the country (DD flying in from out west where she is visiting my sister for a week, we are all meeting up in Toronto airport and the next flight to MCO is 6 hours after our arrival and 5 hours after DDs...). I asked the kids tonight if they had to have along layover would they still want a vacation, and they were unsure, since we've never had that long a travel day before. Hopefully it wont be too trying! I'm rethinking my money saving idea of one night at Pop before heading to the YC in the morning, Might make a call tomorrow to see about what the difference will be to switch...

Maybe it would be worth it to get a club day pass since you have such a long layover? Toronto has loads of shops & restaurants. I try to avoid transferring in Toronto, but when I have we like eatting at Wolfgang Puck.

Thanks!

Dee, since people seem to indicate their resort and booking category, I'll add that our 8/14 BC stay is CL-GV.
Thanks as usual for all you do!

Just saw the doctor and he is releasing me. I told DH, I can walk which means I can walk to my chair at SAB - get me on a flight for tomorrow to MCO... he laughed:confused3

:rotfl2: NM is not evil and would not have hit me and yelled at me for crossing the street. Yes, now I can drink my Sunken Treasure from the comfort of my living room without Buzzy.
The dogs who normally never bark, barked their little heads off at this guy especially when he started yelling at me... they were very protective and their hackles were raised which is not the norm for my sweet little puggles
Hope your healing time is swift! I'm sure some Sunken Treasures will be just the thing!

You know what the doctors should do for Couchy? Send her home with an IV filled with Sunken Treasure!!! That would keep her smiling
:thumbsup2
While Couchy is in her haze of Vicodin and Sunken Treasure fog I'd like to remind her to check her PM's, stay away from CO2 cartridges and know that Homeland security will take care of all her medical imaging needs if she has any new metal screws or other piercings. I call that Osama Care....

~NM

PS. Hubb Dave, I better see some pictures of a half eaten Hurricane Hannah's burger and 6 or so empty Sunken treasure cups. Somebody's gotta pick up the slack for Couchy!
:lmao:

Sitting at BOG for lunch ........yay !

Wait was only about 5 minutes !!!!

Syndrome (hungry !)
Enjoy!

We just got upgraded to 1 bedroom suite and Club Level access. Woohoooo
Wow!!

Here is the update... guy was texting and receiving texts at the time of the accident:crazy2: DH is pushing the police hard to charge the guy with something(distracted or reckless driving that caused harm ). I am fairly upset as I had planned on sitting at SAB today and I am here instead

Injury update: pretty good all in all... the 2 ribs are only hairline fractures and I have not filled the pain med prescription and just took 2 Tylenol this morning and have not had anymore

I had two cuts on my head from when I fell I must have scrapped the back of my head on something on his vehicle. It bled a lot but I guess head wounds do that and I did not even need stitches:thumbsup2

Bruised tailbone ( I have done this several times so even though it hurts its not too bad and I have grown accustomed to it)

Broken pinky

All in all not to bad, not a ton of bruising, just on my head which you cant even see because my hair covers it, my tailbone area, and pinky. I made DH take me on a walk around the neighborhood ( I can not sit still, it just isn't in me)

I told him we should not have cancelled and we should get on a plane tomorrow so I can recover poolside. They say water is good for healing:scratchin Now to convince DH...
I hope they throw the book at that jerk ::yes:: and glad you're injuries will heal.

Wow, I just cannot keep up with this thread. :lmao:
Just 10 more days for me. I am super excited to try YC. We should be there by noon and then have about 4 hours until we head over to EP. Probably just enough time to wander around YC, get lunch at..... ? Where do you all suggest we get lunch? It will be our only time having lunch at the resort. Beaches & Cream? Do they have outdoor seating (if by some miracle it's not 90+ degrees). Not looking for a big sit down meal and we'll be having dinner at Cape May and Captain's grill other nights.

Hitting the hay after an incredible day with a tour guide at MK. Ramon was a gentleman and whisked us through things like hot butter

Spent some time in SAB this evening. Relatively empty. Watched some of Illuminations from the pool near HH. Sadly, no Sunken Treasures yet. We figured Monday night would work better

We can hear Wishes going off now.

Happy Anniversary Teena and Bob. Sorry we missed you. We left for MK early and got back a bit late

Coffee in rooms and I think Marketplace is Joffrey's

Had marshmallows on the beach too right before the pool

Couchy, the chairs at SAB have healing powers

AK for early EMH tomorrow. Early alarm
Sounds like a wonderful trip so far! :cheer2: for Joffreys! Can't wait to try it!
Any update on room fridges? Are they all in now? Any thing about new mugs yet?
Wow, Couchy, glad you are ok... It could have been way worse than a postponed (or possibly just delayed?????) Disney trip.

Looked online and there are no garden view CL rooms for our first night, so Pop it is! The standard view rack rate was something like $596 a night (!!!!) so I think I'll stick with Pop. :)

8 more days of work before we go! Had a birthday supper at my mom's and she and my aunt almost let it slip a dozen times, then my sister called and almost let the cat out of the bag on the phone... OMG! Gotta lock the kids in a dark room for 2 weeks. Family and media blackout! LOL
We are staying first night at Pop too, 8/17
Well it's official we are not going . Probably for the best. One of the pups decided I needed a kiss tonight a d accidentally stepped on me a d boy oh boy was it painful. Staying home and having DH wait on me . Planning for F&W
:grouphug:
Thank you! Not long now, I'm so excited, 15 days till I'm there :)

Woohoo! Get some sleep, you don't want to be exhausted before you get there! We fly Wednesday for Florida, going to Ft Lauderdale first for some beach time :beach: and family visiting.

Teena & Bob. Happy Anniversary!! :cheer2:

That sounds like an excellent plan!!! Will get you to DC in the quickest manner, then you can relax, and take your time getting to the MK that night.

I think a bus to CR and walking is a great way to get to the MK.

Nice planning!

What's the DC? Thanks.

Our fridge was there and working. Same old refillable mugs

In line for Dinosaur
