Anybody interested in meeting up for a mini Dis Meet on August 8th (Thursday) ... maybe around 8:00-8:30 PM in the lobby of the BC? I'd say the Solarium but with all the rain we get at night, the movies are almost always moved into the Solarium at night. Princess Lily and her Mum would be able to attend too.

Let me know and if anybody is interested, I'll add it to our BC schedule.

I really feel like Disney threw a giant wrench in my plans with this whole Magicband FP+ thing! I think it is being offered to me bc when I sign in that thing pops up to link family members and customize bands but I am too afraid to do it. IDK what to expect from the technology and like the "old school" way it was done (Creature of habit perhaps?). On the other hands, my fear is also that there will be less regular FPs to distribute due to FP+...what do you all think?

...when I sign in that thing pops up to link family members and customize bands but I am too afraid to do it.

I had the same notice, went through the process of adding tickets, reservations and people...and nothing changed. When I click on the Magic Bands or FP+ options, they don't let me do anything. Reading other posts, it looks like we can see the options but unless we receive a separate email inviting us to the testing, we can't use the features yet.

I get the pop up window too, but no ability to add magic bands or select FP+, so I would not assume you have been selected just because that pops up. We haven't decided if we are relieved or disappointed not to have been chosen.

We will be there then, but right now our plans have us at MK for MSEP and Fireworks. We have many days before this, so if that changes, I will work in the meet. Would love to meet up with everyone.

BC isn't part of the test but YC is

I get the popup and can make (and have made) selections. Perhaps those not "invited" to test get the popup but can't choose? Have not gotten an email yet but have "heard" in the DIS that that comes 17 days (or so) out, so still waiting for that.

My MBs have gone from being able to customize "make selections shipping soon" to "shipping soon" and unable to change in the past couple days.

At this point I figure we have nothing to loose-besides time.

How I wish I could be there! That's the same time we stayed at the Y&BC in 2010 and 2011. Last year we were in DL at that time. Hope you have your Meet. I went to the first one in 2010 and it was great!

I'm sitting in hell, I mean Disney Quest right now. Our original plan was to go to BB today but our son was up most of the night with an earache. Not surprising since he's spent over 50% of this trip in SAB! So my husband took the girls to BB while I prepared to take Jay to the urgent care in Celebration (the closest one in our insurance). I spoke with my SIL and told her what was going on and it turns out she brought antibiotic ear drops and numbing ear drops with so we drove to their rented townhouse to pick them up. We didn't have to go to the doctor! Yay!

After picking up the drops, I made a deal with Jay....if he would let me go to Cast Connections (a store for CM's) then I would take him to DQ. And here I am....at my least favorite place at WDW. But I got some great bargains! We had lunch at POR which is always yummy!

Tonight we are heading to MK and have reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern. Our youngest cant wait to see Teen Beach Movie at the BC tonight. Since my husband isn't a big MK fan, maybe I can convince him to take her while we stay and play at MK!

Back in the room for a break as this long trip has finally hit my daughter. We went to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and then to MK. Her legs are just too tired though, so we came back to rest, so that we can go back to MK tonight. I'm surprised at how well she has been doing since we got here. We have been pretty much going non-stop, except for yesterday, when we made it an early evening. Here's hoping we are able to close the park tonight!!! Can't wait to see Teena on Monday.


By the way, haven't seen any sign of Buzzy or his friends. Just a sighting of, what I assume, is a banished family member; a hybrid between a wasp, bee, and dragon fly. It was ugly.

First stop on July 25th is Grand Flo , Sugarloaf CL ..........then on to BC .
