Ahhhh! I wasn't going to check the boards this morning but I'm so glad I did. Now I'm starting my day with a smile.

Thank you to Scott for setting it up, and thank you Dee for responding in such a reliable manner. Always just letting in one message at a time - no more, no less.

I can picture Dee listening to Vilma summarize the highlights of the BC.... LOL!!!

We booked RO and bought tix at UCT at the old prices. That plus the Canadian part means no Magic Band test. I don't care about FP+ because it would be too hard to coordinate with the other family (we were part of the test last year with cards and it didn't work with balancing two families) but I'm going to be poisoned looking at the other guests with their colorful bands!!! LOL

21 sleeps I think. OMG. No idea how I'm keeping it in.

Uh oh. We leave in 9 days. Should I be paying attention to Dorian? I'd really rather stick my head in the sand and ignore any possibility of bad weather during my vacation.

Is this true??? I can add someone as a day guest to my CL room for $25 a day. And once I get to the resort pay the additional room charge I can have them added to magical express too for thier flights. Honestly that just seems too easy???!

I figured my Dis friends would have accurate info.... Cm's sometimes make me nervous

If you are asking about adding to your reservation.....You can add them to the room reservation if you have under the allowed number of guest. I emailed IPO and asked about adding guest to CL. Don't think you could if you were over or at the max number for the room.

I would not worry at this point. It will encounter drier air so it should weaken. Way to far out to worry about tracks

It will obviously get stronger at some point but again, not the best environment. Maybe it lowers crowds?

I forbid any tropical storms, hurricanes, or any other natural vacations during out vacation! FORBID! (although the way our life has been going, I think it would be par for the course ) But...not allowed!

NOAA's information and it doesn't sound like they think this is going to become a huge storm either. That being said, I live on the RI/CT coast and the last two storms to barrel through here did quite the number on us!

I can answer this, I live in the same area. Yes it survived! Taylor Swift bought the house at the top of the hill from the carousel. There was A LOT of sand on the roads after Sandy. They had to use bucket loaders to get the 1-2 feet of sand off the roads for the summer.
