I just love that most hotel rooms in America now come equipped with a small coffee maker. I am never quite sure, however, about the quality of the brew provided.

Before a recent trip to Orlando, I purchased a package of the small flat bottomed filters that fit into the coffee makers in the hotels. When I travel, I grind enough coffee for the small pots in the hotel rooms and place it in a ziploc sandwich bag--one bag for each day of my trip. I then put them into another ziploc with one filter for each day.

I usually try to buy enough bottled water to make coffee with when I make my grocery stop. After I have enjoyed my coffee, I put the used filter with the coffee grounds into the ziploc--that way, housekeeping does not have any more to do with the coffee pot than if I had used the filter pak provided.

I just love my morning coffee. :goodvibes

I'm with you! I always ziplock my coffee to take with me when traveling because there are times that the 'provided' hotel coffee isn't to my taste. I really enjoy my morning coffee and bringing my own is worth the trouble. :earsgirl:

I've actually noticed a trend toward no coffee maker in the room. Those hotels tend to have a take away coffee service that they prefer you buy from. I'm with you! I prefer to have my coffee in my underwear when I'm on vacation. It's just nicer than having to get dress and run all the way to the lobby (or across the property) just to get coffee and wake up!

DH drinks coffee by the potful every morning. Usually there is only enough coffee for one pot. Therefore, I always pack coffee in a tupperware container. I bring plenty of filters also. Sometimes we bring our own coffee maker also. As you can tell, DH is a serious coffee drinker.

The first time I read this, I did not get your meaning. I just returned home from a trip and noticed a coffee aroma in my luggage. So when you said you prefer to have coffee in your underwear I was thinking--did you miss the part where I said to bring coffee filters?! :lmao:

Especially since the only good coffee in WDW is at the Polynesian were you can get Kona Coffee.

I thought I was the only one who brought their own coffee. I also have a stainless steel french press and a travel mug size french press that I take on all our trips . All I need is hot water and I am in coffee heaven. The people at 7-eleven think I am crazy though brewing coffee in the little bitty cup.

Bags, so they don't smell like coffee. :thumbsup2 Yes, I bring my own too! :teeth:

Of course, youcould always wash out your coffee-stained underwear in the toilet. Just make sure to check for cats first!
