Don't know why I can't get this straight: ?I can only get Dining plan if on a Package

I can't add it onto a room only? I have to have the room and the tickets and the dining? Then how do you get any discounts? i want to try the dining, but I already have a 20% savings from AAA on rooms. It looks like if I book a package then the only discounts that I would get would be the purchase of tix ahead of time. By no way is this close to what the AAA rate is off. So do those of you whom add on the dining pay Rack Rates for everything? Or do I have this all wrong and when I get to Disney I can just add the dining onto my room only ressie? Help me P L E A S E!!!!! i think I must be stupid 'cause i feel like I've read every post on this subject and i just Can't Get It!!

If you book a package with AAA, then the room portion of the package will be discounted the usual AAA amount. Go to disneyworld.com and price out a package, including tickets and dining. The go to your AAA travel agent and ask for a quote on the same package. It should be less than Disney's as long as there are AAA rooms left for your dates.

You can get the AAA rate on the package with dining if you go through an AAA agent. I already had a room only through CRO and an ADR for LTT the night of MVMCP, but I called AAA and asked them to book me the package after I heard about the dining package, and they were able to do it without affecting my ADR. Just call an AAA agent and they will take over from there! Just make sure you ask if they included insurance. They sometimes automatically include it, and if you don't want it, just say so!
