Don't know where to begin!!

Hi!! Well as you can see Im not a Disney Newbie... but I AM a DDP newbie! I've never been much for making an itinerary so how am I supposed to go about planning all these reservations?! I don't even know where to begin! I have a list of restaurants I'd like to try for either Breakfast or Lunch/Dinner but how do you decide where and when you'll be on any given day and time?

I really need some help deciding how to go about doing this...

What *I* do is start with the park hours. Figure out which parks I want to be on what days according to EMH, fireworks, special parades, and extended hours. THEN I plan which restaurants I want to eat on those days.

I want to be at MK when they do Spectromagic so I know on one of those days, I need to either eat at MK or at a MK hotel. Makes it easier to narrow it down that way =)

I'm in the same boat, not doing the DDP but will have extended fam with us who want ts for dinner.
How do you know what park you'll be in when the WDW calendar only allows you to look ahead a few mos. (our trip is in Nov.) If you can book ADR's 180 days in advance, will the WDW calendar show as far out as ADR's let you book?
We like to avoid the parks on EMH days since they're more crowded!
Am I making any sense?

Sign me up. I do it the same way. I have my "offical" poster board on the wasll w/ a calnder of our days and the park hours. I make sure to make ADR's on certain days when I want to go to a parade or fireworks. And NOTHING gets written on the board unless it's "offical" I sometimes get into COMANDO mode from time to time...

Yes - you make total sense! In the past, I don't believe they released park hours as far in advance as you booked dining reservations but now they do! =)

For example, they already have hours posted through October, which is more than 6 months away (if my math is right, LOL!)

Thanks! I did go back to their calendar and it's showing 6 mos out. I don't recall being able to do this not so long ago.???
I guess November will be shown in May and I can get everything set.
