And I am giggling at your play by play at the magic kingdom. I say, plan to meet MP at opening and instead of waiting around 20 minutes- sleep in 20 more minutes!!!

Oh, and I plan vacations out YEARS in advance. No joke, I have a spreadsheet that goes out by decades of places I'd like to hit in certain years. (like, London when my oldest graduates HS... which is 6 years away!).

I know--we used to just go around the park all casual and do whatever. Now I feel like I need a plan to follow. A flexible plan, but a plan nonetheless.

I've read that that's the worst night to go because people who live locally tend to go making it a busier night, but i'm not too worried. besides, it's our only choice. the girls are more excited about getting candy and riding things so the only characters we are meeting is jasmine and capt jack. i'm hoping we'll get to ride all our favorite outside things (BTMR, tea cups, dumbo) and try astro orbiter, see the parade and villains show and the fireworks and try the party waffle. we can't wait!! are you going to dress up?

I can't wait to see your tie dye mickey shirts! I've seem some on other TRs and they always looks so fun! I do not get how you get the mickey to work, and when I tie dye it always looks like mud, but I think the ones I see always look great!

yeah, i'm not worried about our party. it's in September so that should make it less busy, and since we're not trying to do the popular meets I feel like we'll have a lot of "extra" time. i'm also hoping that people will wait in lines for things like 7D and anna and elsa (if they are meeting during the party), which will mean less people where ever we are. I'm also excited about getting some party magic shots! they look so fun!

I had a fun day sewing yesterday so I thought i'd share a couple pictures!

first I made a Lambie tutu to complete denovagirl's (terri's) Maddie's MNSSHP costume. I also made some little scrunchie type things to go around her wrists and ankles to match Lambie's pink around her wrists and ankles. I can't wait to see their family photos in their cosutmes!



then I made reversible bucket hats for terri's girls when we see them. it's the first time I've ever made hats. they were fun and I think i'd like to make more for our girls!



I also made some baby headbands for a Clemson Tigers fan. I thought they looked pretty cute!



I have an ambitious list for sewing today, too. I need to make shorts to go with Hannah's goofy cupcake shirt and i'd like to get started on their anna and elsa dresses. also, if I can get DH to sit still for 5 minutes and help me with the printer, I want to print the iron ons and get those done too. oh, and make our paper chain countdown finally!

so Madison is elsa and Hannah is anna. maddie decided that because she wanted elsa's dress. thankfully Hannah didn't care who she was, so there was no fighting (surprising!!)

had to pop back in during a sewing break with some more pictures! I finished some shorts for Hannah to wear with her goofy cupcake shirt. she's gonna be so cute!!



then we finally got the printer to cooperate and I made some iron ons. I am LOVING dark transfers!! these turned out so great! my shirt for MNSSHP is done! thanks so much, aprilrenee, for photoshopping for me!!



then I made these too. these are for DH and I to wear to our girls bday party in October. they are having a superhero party and we're asking everyone to come in superhero shirts or costumes or masks or whatever. I can't wait to wear them!



if I can get back into sewing mode, I want to start on the girls dresses for MNSSHP. they are actually pretty quick, so hopefully I can get a start on those too! stay tuned!

we are so excited!!!! only 50 days until Disney!



we started the paperchain tonight and the girls were so happy to see it up again! it's not very exciting--just white--but I DID use my Disney font and have Disney numbers on them!

I also bought our plane tickets tonight! we aren't going to be able to travel down together due to DH's work schedule, but that's ok. the girls and I will leave Wednesday and be in Orlando about 5 pm. i'm pretty happy about that because then we will have time to eat and maybe go explore the resort some! DH's flight is early Thursday morning. he should be at the park around 12:30 or so. i'm hoping that he will be there in time for lunch reservation at 1:15. we will all come back together on sunday at a ridiculously early time, but DH needs to get back for work (dang, work!).

AND--I did online check in tonight! woohoo!!!

I have all the pieces cut out for the girls dresses and plan to get them sewn this week/weekend. i'm so excited to see them come together!

this weekend, i'll also be paying off our trip and we will officially be READY TO GO!!!

50 Days!!!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Love those cuties and their excited faces next to the paper chain!! Paper chains are fun I've decided! We love tearing one off and counting each day!!!

Oh! A skirt?!!!!?! Fun!!! I can't wait to seeeeee! Her cupcake is Peter Pan right? It's been a while!

I LOVED five below today! So much fun stuff!! I didn't really buy much bc I was feeling overwhelmed and I didn't have much spending money on me. I mentor a local 15 yo girl and I had taken her to the outlet mall that was nearby, so that's why I stopped in to check it out! I was very impressed! So much frozen stuff!! Each girls picked one thing, and we got some snacks for the long drive home. I really wanna go back with the hubs!

I am so flipping excited Lori!! Today I tried to see what was available for FP again on our arrival day and I found what if originally wanted! So now everything is just perfect for us! I couldn't be happier, well I could, in about 53 days! ))))
