Could someone post a thread so we could vote which continental (And Hawaii, I guess) U.S. states people live in...

The reason I'm asking is I'd like to know where the off location next DVC may be.... we're told to think "Big".

IMHO, it have to be somewhere where a lot of DVCers could get to it.... maybe even within driving distance.

Don't you think they may be looking to open up a new market by building in a state where there are currently only a few members?

It's a little scary for me, as an owner, to think of DVC taking such a risk. Also a little exciting.

I'm hoping CO or another place with great skiing.

I hate most of CA so wouldn't use a resort. there. Unless they built one in the Sierras or somewhere like Mendocino Co. TX doesn't excite me. If I want to go someplace miserably hot I'll go to WDW.

They'll have to be close to a huge population base -- within a day's drive or so.

It's fun to speculate.

I suspect if they are going to go where most owners are, they would be building somewhere in the northeast quadrant of the country. Now, while that is where the most members are, I would assume those members would want to "get away" if they go on vacation, so I would think the draw would be a great vacation destination and not just near where most members live.

I agree that Texas would have no draw for me either.
