Yesterday I read on the Dis about the 3yr old getting kicked off the plane - today its on CNN.com - how do you guys do it!?

Yeah, I heard it on the news last night too. It made me laugh... "Family kicked off of plane because 3 year old was crying" That was their headline. I'm glad I got the real scoop here first.

I read about the bomb threats on Heathrow in August here on the DIS first. It was only on the Belgian news a couple of hours later.

I think CNN and BBC News and the like use the DIS as their prime source for information...

My family always tries to give me Disney news and they are always a day late and a dollar short because I've already read the Disney news here!

The DIS is great for getting news. It was the only link I had to news on 9/11. I was at work (on the west coast) and was stuck at the computer. There were no TV's or radio and the news sites online were impossible to get on. The people of the Dis were awesome at reporting what was happening includin many watching out their highrise windows in NY. I am a Dis news fan first! The other sites come later.

We heard about the professor who (allegedly) killed his wife as the police were still on the scene....

combine that with almost any professional opinion is available for any topic as well as the layman's point of view. Many layman's point of view... hehehheee
