We have had a lovely smooth process until the last week or so when the top of the chain suddenly woke up from their stupidity sleep and realised that they will have to find the rental property that they promised they would move into 3 months ago.
Also the first time buyers couldnt realise that they had to give notice to free up funds from ISA's to provide the deposit for the completion.

Better calm down.....After all it will only delay it a month due to holidays.

DONT TALK TO ME ABOUT MOVING -AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!

We sold our house on 26th August last year and we still arent any closer to moving. The chains keep collapsing and there are no first time buyers around to stabilise things. We are really on the verge of giving up with it and leaving it a year. Plus points to that are we could buy our DVC this year instead of next and save a bit more towards the next house as well. Its becoming more and more tempting!

Sounds like a right nightmare..but I agree it will be all worth it in the end..

On to our solicitors today to request there is an exchange of contracts before the 1st March. This will allow our buyers and us a relaxed holiday knowing that it cant collapse without legal recourse.
