Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I jumped on the disney bandwagon too late and didn't know about priority seatings until now. Does this mean I am doomed (restricted to fast food meals) during my trip to Disney (yes- it happens to be during busy Christmas time!)? Any tips on getting in for a sit-down meal without PS during this time?

Thanks a bunch,
flying genie

My friend just made PS's for the 16th until the 27th of December. She got everything she wanted. The only one she didn't get was LTT for MVMCP on the 16th. I would at least try and call to see. Good Luck!:)

I agree! Give it a try. I'm still tweaking my PS's for the same week. I was able to get one I wanted a couple days ago. I bet you'll still be able to get in. I'm not sure about Christmas Eve, and/or Christmas Day. I haven't tried to change those plans. If you don't have any luck with those, try the Swan & Dolphin. There restaurants don't seem to book up as fast. Good luck! :)

As long as you can be flexible with sit down times, you should get what you want.
Don't wait too long. Without any PSs, you are taking a risk.
Have a wonderful time!!:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

If you are willing to eat at counter service restaurants you will be fine. However, we go to WDW every year for Christmas and the past 3 years we have heard CMs turning people away from many restaurants on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

At Le Cellier on Christmas Day last year the CM told a family with little children that their best bet was to go back to their resort because all the World Showcase restaurants were booked for all seatings until January 2.

I would pick a couple of places and try to get a PS for those so you are assured of eating somewhere you and your family likes.

we're still making changes for our 12/24 to 1/1 stay. There are a few dinners I've not been able to get exactly what I want but for the most part it's been fine.

The only thing I haven't been able to get is dinner at Le Cellier for any night we are there. They are just totally booked with CP packages.

Go ahead and call now for things you KNOW you want and get them before too much more time goes by. You can always call back and add more as you think of them. :)

thanks for the encouragement! Yes, they did have quite a few openings at Epcot. I passed on Christmas day at Cinderella's Castle (there was one table for 4 left at 9:10 pm) because I'd rather see spectromagic/wishes.

I ended up getting Coral Reef with CP package... am currently debating whether I want to go to coral reef (we eat french, japanese and canadian food too much at home) but we'll see. Am also currently debating when to go to Ohana... sounds fun!
