Don't get out the flames just yet

I guess this is a question that is asked to many west coast Americans ~ why would anyone living close to Disneyland in Anaheim choose to go to WDW? . . .
. . . We are currently saving to go to Anaheim to see the original Disneyland, and hope to also get to Tokyo and Hong Kong one day.

:wizard:

So glad you brought up the original (or as I think of it, the 'real') Disneyland as did Karen a few pages back and another poster or two on this thread. The introduction of Disneyland to the conversation allows me to jump in on the general issue of comparing parks even though I have no experience at DLRP. When I met my late husband Scott it was already his routine to visit both US Disneys every year, something he did for nearly 30 years. He was often asked which he thought was best, and though he had strong opinions about things he liked better at one or the other, he always answered that he loved them both and felt fortunate to have them both in his life. That's what I say now when I'm asked.

Hope you get to Disneyland soon. Have fun wherever you are.

I have never tried Mountain Dew! :faint:

Well make it a priority! I also love Barqs Root Beer - ya love it or hate it! All the things that bring back childhood memories will always keep drawing me back to WDW in the US! Along with many other reasons!
