We are going to MNSSHP this year and have a question about getting in. As I understand it, we can go to MK early, stay there, they herd us off to Adventureland, escort other people out, then start the party.

Couldn't people without tickets just stay in Adventureland? If they look for writstbands, what about all the costumes that would cover it up? It just seems like you could stay somewhere in MK without a ticket and go to the party.

I suppose there are some people that have tried that...but you have to hold out your arm and show your wristband (at least we did) before you get on any rides or into any shows.

The same could be said for evening EMHs - have to get a wristband, but I saw plenty of people without them. There is no way to enforce that. Maybe the CMs are checking at rides, etc. but I never had to show my wristband to get on a ride or in an attraction. Hopefully at a hard ticketed event like MNSSHP there is a little more attention paid to the wristband thing.

I don't remember being herded into an area or anything for MVMCP - it just seemed like eventually it was party people.

I'd imagine it would sometimes be an honest mistake, though - thinking that it was just an extended evening event and since you're already there you get to go. I don't recall hearing any announcements that the park was closing at a certain time, etc.

I'd be that's a common occurrance - especially with the language barrier that sometimes presents itself in the World.

We were there Tues. Oct. 11. When you enter the main gate and head up Main Street, there herd you left toward Adventureland. You can wait there until everything starts. By 6:30, there were already a lot of people with their bags full of candy! We didn't get that much candy, some places had run out of it by the time we got there. We rode rides while everyone was in line for the candy!!! :earboy2:

I would definitely do MNSSHP again! The longest we had to wait to ride anything was less than 10 minutes (Space Mountain)! Well worth the $$$!

We were asked to show wristbands at some of the candy stations.

We got to MK around 5, got the wristbands, went on 3 attractions, IASM, Mickey's Philharmagic, and HM. Went to Adventureland to eat at 6, and by the time we were finished it was time for the party to begin. We also noticed that there were people with practically full bags of candy already! It was a great experience. Hardly any lines, great fireworks, and a good parade.
Have a great time!
