Don't Forget: Today is BOOKING DAY for F&W Special Events!

I'll be interested to know when the seminars/demos will be announced and booking will begin for them. Also, interested in whether there'll be a DVC discount again this year, and if so, how much. All they say so far is that the 45 minute events will be $9 and $13. I'm confused about the pricing.

These tickets will go on sale directly on the disney.go site on August 26. I was told by someone at the Festival office that the difference in pricing represented advanced tickets versus day-of-the-event tickets. I was also told there would be a DVC discount, but was not told how much that would be.

This is our first F/W, due to jobs we have never been able to get away in October.

I am leary though of booking something that expensive that can't be cancelled, how does everyone else deal with that? In this economy I am just not willing to throw away hundreds of dollars if something happened and we could not go.

At least with concert, game tickets etc. you can sell them.

We booked the 3D dessert, curious to see what it is like. We were there for the fw a couple of years ago but really didn't do anything.

Some of our group is still considering the PfTS but I decided I could graze around the world several times for what that one event costs. Has anyone heard if they are have the themes like last year? That will be the deciding factor.

Some of our group are doing the Sweet Sunday on the 24th.
