It's that time of year again... how many people wore pink/are going to wear pink on Wednesday to take a stand against bullying?

I had no idea this even was happening. I work from home and have only seen my concrete contractor guy today, so I don't think that count much on this. Good idea, but a little more press might have helped, but then again, the link says the account has been suspended.

Hmm it's a pretty big thing up here and I heard more and more steam of it picking up in the US. Very odd about the account suspension -- that's been the official website for the past number of years and was even working this morning and it's loading for me right now as well. A lot of local websites up here have turned their backgrounds pink too.

The gist of it is for all people to wear pink in support of those being bullied. It was started in a highschool where a child was being tormented and so a group of students decided to all wear pink tshirts the next day; and tried to get as many other students to join in. It grew year after year from then... Locally we can buy tshirts online or for BC at London Drugs for less than $10, proceeds going to support groups and today was the day to wear those shirts or anything pink.

not observed in the UK as such but i was there, pink shirt and tie, for all the world to see!!! (couldnt get pink boxers in my size!!)

LOL Jim There's no saying the organization can't be contacted to extend to the UK! Word of mouth is also a good thing

Hasn't become popular here in IL. We wear uniforms so no pink for me today. Bummer
