I wanted to remind everyone going to Disneyland to NOT MISS Billy Hill and the Hillbillies at the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. You should try to arrive about 30 minutes early for the show--see the map for showtimes (usually last show is 5:30pm). i BELIEVE THEY PERFORM THURS-SUNDAY.

It is a great place to sing and laugh and stay cool on a hot summers day. You can also get burgers, hot dogs, fries, chili dogs, chili fries, drinks and deserts to eat while you wait. Alot of people walk right on by and we never miss it! You will love it!

cheers

<font color=navy>We've been there a few times. I still miss the original show, and the one with the girls & guys, but Billy Hill & the Hillbillies still makes me laugh whenever we go. Our favorite spot is in one of the booths next to the stage, but last time, we sat out in the audience, and had a great view.

I also enjoy having lunch there, especially on a warm day - it's nice and air conditioned in there. Plus it's just fun to watch a whole crowd crack up. :)

I agree, this is a great show, not to be missed! If you don't like the menu selections inside, you can also bring food in with you to eat. I like to go in the afternoon with an ice cream or popcorn to snack on.

I just have to share....
The Golden Horseshoe is one of my all time favorite places! When we used to go there when I was young, my dad always made sure we had the "box" seats just right of the stage.....it was so fun! My sister and I have both been "proposed" to as part of the act. Anyway, although I am sure the act has changed tons since I have been there (too long ago!) but I am looking foward to checking out the new show!

Ahhhh, memories.....makes me want to write about the time I was screaming and wrapping my arms and legs around a pole when my dad tried to get me to ride the Matterhorn! Good times!

We just got back....we always have a great time at the show!

There are rumors that the Golden Horseshoe Show will be changing, probably to be replaced with the same type fo show going in at WDW.
