Don't ever go to a craft store to pick up "just one thing".....

DD & I stopped at Michael's on our way up to the lake.. She was going to get a paint brush - and I was going to get a can of outdoor spray varnish..

Well - when all was said and done, I spent$38 and change and DD spent $65 and change!!!!

They were having the most awesome sales though - just couldn't pass up the stuff..

Now tomorrow we have to head over to the one horse town - to the 5 and dime (yes - there's still a "5 and dime" there - the ONLY store to shop in) and I can just imagine what we'll spend.. Right now my "list" has 3 items on it..

Any guesses as to how many things I'll come back with and how much money I'll drop??????

I haven't been allowed in the craft stores for quite some time....see my TAG. I MUST buy some Disney paper at some point...I hope I can control myself.

Thanks everyone. I thought I was the only one with no self restraint in the craft store. I have so much stuff to do Isabella's scrapbooks cause I keep on buying but I seldom get around to actually putting it all together.

There's a scrapping store in the next town and I've been known to walk in for one sheet of paper and come out $50 poorer........

And when I get to Michael's, the closest is about 100 miles away, I seem to lose my mind entirely.

But I'm not alone.

I've learned long ago don't take my mother in scrapbook store with me. She'll have me buying place out. I tend to have to send my DH to micheals for me or i'll have same problem as you ladies.

I am on a self-imposed ban of craft stores! I have enough stuff here to start my own. I REALLY need to get moving and use what I have - especially with scrapbooking.

But.....rubber stamp conventions are coming up in June & July and the ban will be off!
