Don't waste your money on Disney snow globes. I use to collect these and have about 20 of them. Several years back I noticed they started getting bubbles in them so I stopped buying them. All 20 of them now have large bubbles in them so I emailed the disney store and walt disney world. They said they would only replace the ones purchased within a year and with a receipt. All of mine had music boxes in them, that are now rusted. I opened one up and it's a seal problem, the glue they used for the seal didn't touch the whole bottom, it was a poor seal job, therefore they leaked the water into the base. I'm rather bummed they are ruined. They still have the price tags on them from $40 to $120..... I'd stick to just the music boxes.....
I know some repair shops will fix them, just bummed they didn't hold up with the prices I paid for them.....
just a heads up.

I'm sorry that happened. I love snow globes and have a few myself. I won't be getting any more. It was nice of you to pass that information along. I've been very tempted to get more snow globes but I guess the cost and transporting them home kept me from buying. You've given me the best reason of all.
not only did we check for bubbles but we also checked to make sure everything else was ok with the globe.. no chips on the characters or anything..
