Ahhh hi! I'm trying to catch up on your TR but it just gets longer so I feel like I'm not making any progress LOL! I'm about to update mine so thanks for sticking around!

This was such a quick trip but it has taken me so long to finish this! Anyways, on our last day we decided to go to MK since I had made a LAST MINUTE reservation for Crystal Palace breakfast.

Like I've said before, this was NOT a commando trip, so we decided to Disney sleep in (you know, still waking up early but not as early as you usually would to make rope drop?) a little bit since our reservation wasn't until a bit after nine. Here's a photo I took of the castle from the waiting area outside CP.

So we go to check in at the podium (if you've read my dining report, then you already know what happens next!) but there was a short line. The people in front of us were taking FOREVER!!!!! to figure out their reservation. So while we are standing there, Belle comments about how one of the guys waiting outside for his table looked like Joey Fatone from NSYNC. I look at who she is talking about and freak out!! I say to her "OMG! BECAUSE THAT ISSSSSSSSSS JOEY FATONE!" She asked me if I was sure, and I told her how I spent like 95% of my middle school career being obsessed with NSYNC, and that I was 110% positive it was Joey! There he is in the white shirt!

So we debated whether or not to go up to him for awhile. No one was bothering him but we thought maybe people already made a scene before we got there or maybe no one knew who he was? It seemed like everyone waiting was in their 40's or really young - AKA the age groups that don't remember NSYNC (well not Joey anyway)! When we finally got inside we had an amazing server, Kyle, who told us about all of his celebrity encounters in the restaurant. He said Joey comes a lot because he still lives in the area and is really nice to fans. We still decided not to bother him while he was with his family.

The food was amazing and here is a picture of me with Pooh!

After breakfast we headed to...

in hopes of "running into" Joey! Did we?​

I really enjoy CP for breakfast, especially when you get iin before the park opens and it is like you have the place to yourself.

This trip report is hilarious! I can't believe you saw Joey. I betcha he would've said hi, but I probably wouldn't have had the guts to go up to him. Especially if he is just chillin with his fam. I'm going down next year with my DH after I graduate. (From dental school- my sn is disneysmiles- yeah I'm also a cheeseball) This is my first grownup trip, I like seeing what other young 20 somthings do.

I love Herbie! My default for cute animals is Henry. I'm relieved that you located Eddie. I mean, he could absolutely be your future husband and then you would have to go to DisneyLand Paris. Dontcha love that's my reason for him being your future hubbie. Ah! I crack myself up.

I also like that you don't push doing rides if the lines are super long. Way to enjoy the disney experience! Hope things work out for you for Memorial day!

I'm glad you are reading! There is SO much to do on an adult trip that you can't do with kids. You will have tons of fun! Ohhh Eddie and I talk sometimes on Facebook. He's SO cute. I hope he is my future husband that can take me to DisneyLand Paris. Maybe we'll even get a discount since he worked for WDW? LOL. Memorial Day weekend did work out, I went and am back! Unfortunately, Eddie was on a cruise!! How sad. Anyways, thanks for reading!

Haha okay, that makes me feel better! I'm going to finish it soon. I just love seeing how cute Claire is and how you do things like my mom did for me when I was a kid! I love that your sister took your kids to see NSYNC!! That's awesome!

i love chicago, we live just across the boarder in IN....we were just up there a few weeks ago and spend all day going to shed aquarium, walked along the water to navy pier, had some drinks and lunch there, then walked back through millenium park, and the blues festival in grant park, it was an awesome and really fun day


anyway, enjoying it so far and it is fun to read reports of peoples that live in the same area as you.

No, I didn't take enough pictures and it was another short trip. It was also raining CONSTANTLY the whole time so most of the pictures look bad anyways. Chicago is SO fun. I love big cities because there is always something to do. I'm home for summer from college and there is absolutely nothing to do here and I wish I was back! Thanks for reading!
