Ugh. 5 AM to get ready for that Safari was early! :rotfl:
The safari was good. My one gripe was that there wasn't really enough room in our vehicle. We ended up sitting in a row with a mom & child, so we were 5 across. Even in the normal ride they tell you if you are crammed in a row with another party GET OUT and wait for the next truck! Luckily DH was on the end, but he was on the right side of the truck which tends not to be as good for animal viewing. Oh, and a giant grasshopper landed in my hair. I didn't see what it was or I would have jumped out and run screaming across the savanna. DH knocked it out of my hair, and it jumped on the people behind us. The mom was not amused, but the dad was. He started taking pics of the grasshopper.

Breakfast was good. Typical buffet.

After breakfast we grabbed FPs for Everest, saw the Nemo show (SO amazing), walked both trails to see the tigers and the gorillas. DS has never been on Kali so today he FINALLY got to ride.

Now we're having a break before dinner at Sanaa.

Glad you had fun playing golf. Do you get to keep the ball. I thought I read a while ago that you could. Do they still do that? Oh well at least you can get an ap discount so that is good in itself.

I am sure Princess and Pixie will be happy with what you get them. I am princess clueless with the 3 ds.

I know what you mean about the dtd buses. Ours took forever too. Worse we went in and out Earl of Sandwich twice and no seats. The cm said, oh you are back again (we were looking for a table BEFORE we ordered the food) There were none, so I said, yup and we are leaving again.

I think we need to try Beaches and Cream too especially since we are staying at BC in Dec.

Cant wait to see your Sanaa pictures. I always debate about going there. Its just so much of a hike on the buses etc. I dont think I would like the food, but dh sure would. I would need something seasoned very mildly.

Have fun!

I just found your trip report! I love your pictures....they are great! You have a beautiful family.

Sounds like a great day. I have never seen the Nemo show. It is on my must do list for next trip. Was this your first time seeing it?

Any good pics from the sunrise safari?

They do not let you keep the ball at mini golf, but I didn't really need a golf ball. :rotfl2:
Sanaa was very good, but our server was a complete dud. He wins "LEAST interactive server" for this trip. Maybe for every trip. I had requested 2 servers that had been recommended to us but they were BOTH off last night. :headache: I don't like anything spicy, and I was very pleased with our food. I'll post pics later.

Welcome! :goodvibes

The Nemo show is amazing! Definitely go see it! And they open the doors pretty early, so we were able to enter the theater and sit down about 25 minutes before the show. DH took a TON of pics yesterday so I will have the nightmare that is PhotoBucket today.

We have a fishing excursion this morning. We are all too tired to go, but it is past the cancellation window so we are going! :rotfl:

Dinner at Sanaa
We had a bread basket and 3 dips but we ate it before we took a photo. It was naan bread and 2 others, plus cucumber raita, red pepper hummus, and mango chutney. All VERY tasty.

DH has terrific photos of the Safari, Nemo, and my gorillas. Gorillas are my favorite! I will battle with uploading them later today. Probably. ;)

The fish were NOT biting today. DH caught 3 and DS caught 2. Really beautiful weather, though! And the guide told me to request to be reimbursed for the cab ride from AKL to the Contemporary. Had I known they would reimburse I would have asked for a receipt from the cab driver, but the concierge was nice enough to refund it anyway. :)

We are in the process of showering so we can head over to Epcot.

We are also hoping Pest Control will be here shortly. There was a cockroach on the wall behind DS's head this morning. :scared: Then it ran down behind the couch and we didn't see it again. I am guessing it is lurking back there. We had a cockroach in the bathroom the last time we stayed in this villa. Perhaps they need to kick up the pest treatment a notch or 2.

Wow! All the pictures are great! Esp the parade ones. Sounds like you are having a great time! I am with you on the grasshopper. I would probably run into a lion trying to get away from a grasshopper!!!!! The breakfast for the Safari looks amazing.

Candy, like I said, had I known what was on me I would have run screaming across the savanna. I just felt something hit me in the head.

Fighting with Photobucket now. DH loaded 250 pics into one folder, which is a GIGANTIC problem.

Hoping Epcot won't be terribly crowded today. We really don't have any plans for the rest of the day because I could never decide what we were going to do after the fishing thing.

The Pest Control guy was just here but he can't spray the room with us in it. He said he will pass the request on to the second shift since we are still rather far from being ready to leave.

LOVE the Sunrise Safari pictures!!! Glad you enjoyed Sanaa but I'm sorry your server was less than stellar. It's been years since we've gone mini golfing in Disney; with the parks closing early in Dec. for our upcoming trip, it maybe a good evening activity!

E - you are making me miss Disney so much! I know it is probably too late to ask, but if you could pick up some maps at each park for me I would appreciate it. My stash is nearly empty and I use that to help out Disney "newbies". I know the request has come late in your trip, so if you can't I understand.

LOVE the pictures - I think the lense was worth the fight. ;)

The safari was fun. The only thing missing was rhinos - not sure if they were still in the barns or what.
The family in front of us at mini golf had 2 young kids and they were having the best time - not keeping score, just letting the kids putt from wherever they wanted to. :goodvibes Their little girl was hilarious.

Marti, I will try to remember to get maps. We aren't going back to AK this trip, but I'll try to get the others. We don't use maps anymore so I don't have any in the room.
I have no clue what lens he even used for those pics.

We went back to Epcot tonight. It was the bus that pulled up first. ;)

We had dinner at Sunshine Seasons (Asian for all 3 of us - my spicy Thai chicken was REALLY spicy in spots, but it was good). From there we went to Germany to buy a bottle of wine, and while we were there DH and I each had a flight. I also had a glass of one I was considering for a bottle, but I didn't like it. Ended up buying one from the flight.

We found a fabulous bench next to Italy for IllumiNations. Only had to wait for a second bus to AKL before we got on, which in the grand scheme is not too bad.

Early entry at MK tomorrow!

Don't forget to put your bottle in your CHECKED bags; I bought one at Italy, put it in my roll-aboard thinking it would be less likely to get broken - and they confiscated it at TSA.
