Don't answer the phone, it's her AGAIN!!

I just found your thread and spent all morning reading every change. I love your pre-trippie! I got nervous everytime I saw your pink ink come up, will she do it again? What will happen before you leave? I must say I'm looking forward to hearing about the post trip as soon as you get in. Have a great time!

Thank you and welcome! I really can't believe I've been so indecisive during all of this. But this is the end of the line w/ the changes. :rolleyes1

I just checked allears, doesn't appear to be on DDP. Would have been too easy. There is one at AK and also at DTD.

I have a question, I have Chef's De France booked for dinner and it is getting panned on the allears site. Do you think I should cancel than and go for Kona at Poly? Has anyone eaten at both?

I'm looking forward to staying at WL.... but....I still hear the music from The Lion King calling my name. It is amazing but I have changed resorts as much as you have only in my mind. I have stayed with WL since I changed from AKL so long ago (I still can't believe I once had a reservation at AKL and can't get back now). I think this is why I was too afraid to change back, for fear I would wish I was still at WL. In the mean time, I have managed to book a resort in Williamsburg (again) for a quick 4 day trip in July and plan my sister's shower which is next week....at my house :scared1:. We are also getting ready for the wedding in August when a great many of our family will be staying at my house. By the time the wedding is over, I will be ready for our Disney vacation. :beach: :drinking:

nonsmom, I wish I could help you out on that one. We'll be eating at Kona for the first time and we've never been to Chef's. I have read really good reviews on both. I have seen many refer to Kona as a "hidden jewel".

I SO understand what you mean about AKL. I'm sure that IF I had stayed w/ AKL that is where we would be now. :sad2: But it looks like it could be a blessing in disguise. (just saying that to make myself feel better)

Good luck on the shower and all. You will need a Disney vacation after all of that! We've never been to Williamsburg. A friend of mine has gone for several years and they love it. I hope you have a wonderful time.

OH ktink, you have said this before and you are still changing:rotfl2: I would go back and quote all your times of "this is it", but it would take me well into tomorrow to find them all.:lmao: :scared1: Just kidding, Carol/Houston is here at our house tonight and we are having a ball with your pre-trippie:dance3: popcorn::

My dh and I stayed at POR on our honeymoon and I wished we could have stayed at POFQ (no availability). I am sure you and your family will love it. Plus, doesn't it have the cute serpent slide? I bet your girls will enjoy that too.

Just remember, it is still over 2 months before your trip.....ANYTHING (CHANGES) CAN HAPPEN!!!!!!:thumbsup2

BTW, why don't you try BOMA on your AK day? This will give you the perfect opportunity to check out AKL for your next trip.:confused3

Carol/Houston wants to know if you have checked out cruise critic yet?

prejean princess, I wish we all had a penny for the times I've said I wasn't changing. We'd be better off than if we'd won the lottery. :lmao: As a matter of fact, I added park hoppers. I told DH before I could work out all of the glitches but w/ the extra night let's just go for it. We have never been "hoppers" but now that the kids are a little older let's branch out. ;)

And tell Carol/ Houston that I've visited and registered at cruise critic. I've also got the cutest ticker over there but I can't get it to work on the DIS. And a great big "Thank you" to carol/ houston for the link! :flower3:

DH made me "look him in the eyes" and promise that we wouldn't change anymore. So I've got to stick to my word on that. I told him it was all his fault that I was so confined w/ the ADRs and no hoppers and that was the reason for all of the changes. He's not an idiot so he didn't buy it.

How are all of your ADRs?

Hey Ktink, what's with the CBR on your signature? Did you switch back again?

:lmao: No girl, I forgot to change it. :lmao: Thanks for the heads up. As I mentioned before, if it wasn't for my signature I wouldn't know WHERE we are staying. :rolleyes1

While I'm on a quest for 7,000 posts I'll go ahead and share my ADRs. I'm not even going to pretend that this is the final draft but just humor me. :rotfl2:

9/2 Kona @ 7:40 p.m.
9/3 O'hana @ 6:45 p.m.
9/4 Chef Mickeys @ 6:20 p.m.
9/5 Donald's Breakfasourous (msp) @ 10:00 a.m.
9/6 Crystal Palace @ 4:55 p.m.
9/7 LeCellier @ 12:50 p.m.
9/8 Coral Reef @ 3:20 p.m.

Ok before I didn't know what to do on 9/5 and I'm not exactly sure on that but the kids would love it.

Also awhile back I didn't want to give up CR or LeCellier so I was able to book lunches at both because dinners weren't available. I had a dinner at CR but there weren't any lunches available at LeCellier so I gave up dinner for 2 lunches at both places. The dinner that I had scheduled at CR was on the same date as the LeCellier lunch and I just thought it would be too much food.

Give it to me straight, how does it look?

I think Chef Mickey's is great. We loved it so much last time we booked 2 dinners this time. The menu at Kona looks great. Haven't eaten there. We have Ohana this time for dinner too. However, we did not like CP for dinner last year or CR. We cancelled our Donald's bfast last year because of the bad reviews. LeCellier we booked again this time as it was our second favorite. I have booked CP for bfast as I believe you recommended on an earlier thread. It does rate much higher for bfast than dinner.

Everything looks good (for now - subject to change).:lmao:

I think I have an early dinner at CR on the 8th if you are interested. I believe my ressies are at 4:50 for dinner at CR for a party of 9 (2 tables). Let me know if you are interested. We are doing Beirgarten at 6:55 since it is our arrival day and we won't get to the park until 4 or so. We have done Donalds before and it was really fun. We decided to do it again this year and are really looking forward to it. We also have Kona for this year. We opted not to do Ohanas this year since we have done it the past 2 trips. The kids really had a great time there with all the activities. Dh and I had fun (expecially with those coconut drinky things) because I didn't have to micro-manage kids at the table since they were busy hula dancing and coconut racing.:woohoo: Never done LC for lunch, only dinner, and enjoyed it. Our ressies were really late and the kids were so tired they went to sleep at the table. I was not able to get a dinner ressie there this year - oh well, there is always next year!!!:rotfl2:

Enjoy your planning, at least you are having fun. My dh wonders if I will be burnt out on Disney by the time we get there. You would think after 10 years of marriage he would know better. But, I just put it into motorcycle terms and he got it. :scared1:

Well a big thank you to nonsmom and prejean princess!!!

Some of my ADRs I wasn't sure of but DD 11 picked out CP, DD 6 picked out Donald's, DH picked O'hana and Chef Mickey's (that is funny on SO many levels, my dad has really given him a hard time on that one) And then I picked out Kona. I missed out on LeCellier when we went on our last trip and was really determined to try it this trip.

prejean princess, are you sure you want to give up CR? Let me know, will they let me snatch one of those tables? :confused3 I'll tell ya I was also thinking of San Angel as I've read good things about the atmosphere there but I'm not sure on that one. Your arrival day will be our last night at the parks. :sad2: I'm thinking we'll spend a good portion of our time at MK and ride some favorites then fininsh the evening off at Epcot.

It's early and the kids are still in bed so I'm bored and what better thing to do than to DIS? :confused3

DD 11, just had her birthday and she is extremely excited about POFQ. She is still somewhat skeptical of my promises to ride Splash Mtn. I really hope I can muster up enough courage. Anyway she is such a girly girl and loves all things Disney and Limited Too. A really good kid w/ a good head on her shoulders. I would describe her as: delightfully wonderful!

DD 6, danced and did a version of :woohoo: when we told her POFQ finally opened up. This kid is a riot. She too is a girly girl but tends to be a little on the spontaneous side of life. :rolleyes1 She can't keep a secret. Last night we went to a local Mexican restaurant and told them it was DD 11's bday. Well she spilled the beans to her big sis so when they came out w/ the sombrero and all it wasn't that big of a surprise. I would describe her as: dramatically sassy!

DH well, he's such a good ole southern boy, bless his heart. He hates making changes and I've made the trip planning stages of this trip less than desirable for him.:rolleyes1 He pretends that he can only take WDW in small doses but I know better. He is a great father and I feel for him at times w/ 3 females in the house. So a couple of years ago he bought a male dog, his almost biggest fan, Blue. DH spoils all 3 of us but he has his moments too. He's a Horse Trainer and works on a beautiful farm doing what he loves all day. Doesn't get much better than that. I would describe DH as: solid, what you see is what you get. And he is the rock of our family and the love of my life.

Ktink, well as some of you would guess, I can be spontaneous at times. My mom describes me as having a "zest for life". And while I can be wishy washy at times my job doesn't allow for that. I work at a bank in operations... meaning I am a jack of all trades. Scary, huh? I do the internet banking, debit cards, decision the NSF items, balance general ledger, balance internal accounts, wire transfers, etc. I enjoy my job and I enjoy working w/ the infamous "bankers hours".:rolleyes1 While I work full time I put in about 36 hours a week.

Since we will arrive at Epcot around 4ish I don't want to have to go and sit and eat for an hour just after our day of travel. I want to be able to do some of the rides in future world before the close at 7. So, we are going to keep the ressie for Biergarten (*plus the kids can dance and get out all their extra energy) at 6:55. Send me a pm if you want it and we will figure out the details.:thumbsup2

You know I feel really stupid right now. You had helped me w/ the whole CR and LeCellier saga that I had gotten myself into. And talked me down from having such a "heavy" meal in the midst of riding rides. And now I've gone and scheduled 2 lunches that are "heavy" and I'm going to have to redo that. DH and DD 11 have such queasy stomachs. See if I would only leave well enough alone. And really we don't like to eat any earlier than 6 p.m. I've got CP at 4:55 and see we're on CST so that will be before 4 "our time". :headache:

It does make for a really fun to read pre-trippie! :3dglasses

We have one heavy meal lunch scheduled too at Le Cellier and that's why I am trying like mad to change it.

I feel you on the LeCellier. Well after much thought I remember that yesterday stepdisney gave me a brilliant idea that I forgot all about. She mentioned that w/ the PPP and water park option that you really don't need hoppers. Dining was the ONLY reason I was looking at the hoppers and also I wanted to work in an additional Spectromagic. Well I've worked out the Spectromagic and we will be able to watch it twice and I found that out by going through my legal pad w/ all of the info in it. :rolleyes1

Anyway I called and changed the hoppers to the water park option. Because as stepdisney tried to tell me we can go to theme parks as well as the water parks on the same day. I'm slow to catch on at times. :upsidedow

In doing so I decided that Concourse Steakhouse looks far more appealing to me for dinner than LeCellier at lunch. The same for Cap'n Jacks for dinner versus Coral Reef for lunch. So I switched those and now I'm not "tied" to Epcot w/ ADRs on days that we will probably not be there.

This trip better be magnificent after all of this self inflicted stress. :)
