donating old cell phones

Our local Fire Dept. is collecting old cell phones. I have a few that I can donate, but I'm concerned about info that maybe stored in them. Can I do anything to them before I donate them?

You can do a factory reset on them. It is probably different on each phone, so you might want to Google how to do it. I'm sure you could also take them into a cell store and have them do it also. The fireman most likely reset all of the phones anyway.
