Donatalie Character Quest Disign

Donatalie,

I'm new to the boards, but love all the work! Both of my grandsons simply fell in love with the Character Quest disign that you put together. They really want to use it for our upcoming trip... We leave for Disney on Tuesday, Sep 8 and would really appreciate a high-quality blank version of that disign (no names necessary). Can you help us out?

Thanks, M I C K E Y, but actually, the disign I was looking for is the one on Donatalie's main thread, page 33, post #494, that she did for her DD. It says "Erin's Character Quest 2010" It's got a WHOLE lot of characters in front of the park icons. Just the thing my grandsons were looking for!

After re-reading, I guess I didn't read closely enough the first time (about how and where to post) and will try requesting on that thread, too.

I would love to turn it into a cover for my boys autograph books, but they decided they are going to add their pages from multiple trips to try to have as many charcaters as possible inside. They are obsessed with characters!

We just decided we are going back in Feb. so I figured I would bring all of your 2008 autograph cards for the characters we didn't see last trip and use them then and combine them.

It is hard for me to post this one as a blank........... It was a lot of work as I started with a blank page. I hope people can use it and respect it's origins. That may sound weird.... but someone was selling some on my designs on ebay. It bothered me more than I thought it would.

I love your work and have dowloaded a bunch of your stuff all ready - I LOVE this one - I was studying it and I see you even already have Tiana on it! You're amazing!

It is so sad that someone would take advantage of all of the time and effort you put into Disigning. I am glad the majority of the people use the disigns the way they are intended without being a total jerk. Thanks for all that you do!

I feel for you Natalie! My St. Patricks Day DISigns are on a graphics website with no acknowledgment that someone else made them.....and they will NOT reply to my e-mail.

But actually trying to sell your DISigns when we are so very careful that everyone knows and follows the copyright laws....that is outrageous!!

I am also sorry to hear that someone is profiting from your work. I asked you in another thread about the character quest image. Is the 4 parks artwork that you bought or picture you took? I want to do something with the Castle, Sorcerer hat, tree, and Epcot symbol. Thanks. Also, I asked if it was okay for me to use your Cars character star to make a Handy Manny one? I have been working on it, but if you don't want me to use it, I will attempt to make my own stars. Thanks.

I just created a folder on my computer at work, yep, I've been looking at your photobucket while I should be doing something more productive, with all the autograph pages I want to use and I'm just kinda waiting to see if you do any new ones to make the books. Do you normally do new ones or are those the only ones there will be? Listen to me...the ONLY ones. I think I have more than enough but would just hate to miss a good one you know. LOL!

The four parks art work in this design is from pictures that I took on our last trip.

I created a book for our 2008 trip and all of those designs are posted on my photobucket and 4shared site. The 2010 pages are a work in progress. If there is a specific character that you are looking for, let me know.

Natalie, is it acceptable to ask what font you use on this DISign? I used your dining invitations last year and got your font's off of the font list you put on your share file, but I couldn't find your Character Quest DISign on the font list. I was able to add my kids names to the blank dining invitations last year using Microsoft Publishing and they looked pretty good. Anyway, I was hoping to make my kids autograph books for this coming trip in April and I love this DISign...I am going to use it as the coverpage. Since I am using it as the coverpage and I will have 3 of them, I wanted to put their names on them so there is no confusion on whose is whose! Thanks.

The four parks art work in this design is from pictures that I took on our last trip.

It is for my own personal work. We are taking the kids to Disney tomorrow, and I was looking for images to represent the four different parks. I decided to use it after we got back. Maybe I can get some good pics like you. I did alter the star for Handy Manny. I am going to post the image here. It is not as good as yours, but I think I did a pretty good job. I am one that prefers not to personalize the items since I do not want my kids names out there. I know I am crazy. Okay...I can't post images or links yet. But I will show you later.

Just wanted to say to your handy manny star.
I too do not personalize with names. To easy for kids to trust someone that calls them by name. I just shake my head when I see shirts that list each kids name and then the parents shirts as mommy and daddy. To each there own.

boy oh boy, that person on ebay should be glad that the members here are not within reaching distance of them. What we would do to them . Did they remove the merchandise?
