Donald's Safari Breakfast ADRs

Subscribing. I'm on pins and needles waiting to book a Dec ADR!

I also called today, the CM said they had a meeting about it yesterday and they still do not know when they will begin accepting ADRS, nothing in the system yet.

I have been calling everyday. I am glad someone thought of doing this thread!!! Great Idea.

November 5th. I had actually made reservations for this exact day @ 10 AM before they announced that it was closing. Whew, glad we made it in!!!

The Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom is being converted from a quick-service restaurant to a buffet restaurant. This location will soon offer a character breakfast buffet and a non-character lunch/dinner buffet, starting on November 18th.

Donald's Safari Breakfast Buffet will be offered from 8:00 am to 10:30 am featuring Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy (characters subject to change without notice.) The lunch / dinner buffet (no characters) will be offered from 11:30 am - park close. Reservations for all meal periods will be accepted by calling 407-WDW-DINE up to 180 days in advance.

In order for Tusker House Restaurant to be converted to a buffet restaurant, it will be closed for refurbishment from August 20 until November 17.

After the refurbishment, Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery will continue to serve patries and coffee from the outdoor window.

With the character breakfast opening at Tusker House Restaurant, Donald's Breakfastosaurus character breakfast at Restaurantosaurus will be discontinued after November 5.

Just called. Still no word on when they'll be taking ADRs. I'm going out of town for a few days - I hope they wait until I get back!

I just called to change one of our August ADRs and asked about Donald's for December. Nothing on Donald's yet!

I called a couple of days ago and the CM I spoke with said that they probably wouldn't start booking ADR's for Donald's until sometime in late August or September -- They just had the rush of ADR's for the CP packages and in August (the 6th) they start the Food and Wine ADR's. Seems like a reasonable answer when you think about it (it will busy with all the people who haven't been able to book at their 180 day mark) . . . although, I 've also been thinking that it doesn't leave me with a lot of time to think of somewhere else just in case we don't get our ADR. We'll probably just be grab a counter service meal at the resort (WL) if we can't get our early ADR . . .

Note: You do NOT have to make a post to threads to subscribe to them. Look up at the top of the page, where it says "Thread Tools." That's a menu, and one of the options in it is to subscribe to whatever thread you're reading at that moment. Just a tip... it would really help cut down on the unnecessary empty posts on a lot of these threads.
