Donald's Defiant Dashers Team Challenge

Tuesday night I decided not to play with the lightening in the area and stayed inside. I did get a small walk in last night with the little one though.

Valentines Day, what's that and why do you celebrate it in a dog house. :lmao:

Morning Triple D's - Happy Valentine's Day

Unfortunately this week I haven't gotten much in to report. I have the information at home so I will have to post later and maybe then I will be able to get some miles in tonight.

Here are my totals for this week:

Walking - 4.44 miles in 92 minutes
Core/pseudo Pilates for 95 minutes

Slow week for me, just waiting for clearance
from the dr. to resume physical activity -
Hopefully the CT scan on Sat. afternoon will
be clear and I'll be set to resume workouts!

This week:
15 miles bike/run
2.5 hrs from above, 1hr core & 2 hrs swim= 5.5 total hrs.

Hey guys!

I got on the TR for the very first time in my life today - once I got used to it, it was OK, but I much prefer running outside (although it's probably back to the treadmill for my next run since it is supposed to be COLD on Saturday). I also joined the gym today, so I'm planning some cross-training tomorrow.

Totals for the week - not great due to my cold:
Miles - 5.5
Time - 80 min.

I hope that everyone is feeling better. It really stinks to be sick!

Hey everyone. Reporting my weekly totals:
running walking -35.25 miles - 332 minutes
core,step,weights,etc.- 150 minutes

Totals - 35.25 miles 482 minutes

I'm looking forwards to nicer weather, so I can do more walking outside. Maybe even get back on my bike, I have really missed riding the last couple of years.

:cheer2: Go Triple D's :cheer2:

Hey All,

Just popping in to post my totals for the week.

Fri XT 13 miles/60 minutes
Sat 16.18 miles/142 min
Mon 6.09 miles/51 minutes
Wed 8.2 miles/68 min
Thur 6.43 miles/54 min

Weekly Totals:
49.9 miles (Crap, I knew I should have run that extra 0.1 mile!)
375 minutes

Good job to everyone else this week.

My hours for the week are a tad lower than I'd like, and that is a gross understatement. :scared1: I did manage to get a couple of days of exercise in before we turned into the house of pestilence, though, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel (this morning I could breathe out of both nostrils! sorry, tmi?), so this coming week I will just have to double up on my efforts.

Total hours: 127 minutes
Total miles: 9.8

Oh, and I got a Nike plus thing for my birthday! I am hoping that will help with the motivation, as well as the tracking of workouts. Now I just need my 12 year old son to get healthy so he can show me how it works....:lmao:

Hope everyone has a super weekend! Go DDDs, go! :cheer2:

Sorry I didn't report my milage/time yesterday so here it is

Good luck this week DDD's!!

Good job everyone!

Paul

Just an awful week here guys. I apologize for my low numbers. Family and my own trip to the ER for chest pains just added up to an awful week :guilty: :sad1:

90 minutes
6 miles

Sorry!!!!!!!!! :sad2: :sad1: :guilty:

Vic - Can we go back and fix a previous weeks number??? I just looked at my spreadsheet and my formula was screwed up last week.

My total should have been:

210 minutes
14 miles

Sorry!!!!!! :guilty:

Good morning Triple Ds!

The spreadsheet has been updated.

Keep up the great work, everyone!

:)

TNTsparty...you know the miles for race count double, so you can adjust that! wtg!!

Great job, everyone!! I am seeing some great numbers! And hugs to those who had the ol' LTO/WTO situation...everyone get well! I know there have been some bugs going around.

My week wasn't the greatest, seeing as how I had business travel to Alaska, where the weather and not so much daylight before/after work limited me a bit. (sorry, not to make excuses).

I did:
35.2 miles
6:40 hours

Breakdown is:
1:55 swim for 2.8 miles
1:55 bike for 27.5 miles
1:00 run for 4.9 miles
1:30 water running
:20 core

Happy weekend! I am glad to be getting home to train some more!

Vic - Can we go back and fix a previous weeks number??? I just looked at my spreadsheet and my formula was screwed up last week.

My total should have been:

210 minutes
14 miles

Sorry!!!!!! :guilty:

No problemo. :)

From the post about clarification of rules:

"I want to encourage everyone to do some local races in their areas also. Especially if you have never done one before. I'm sure unless you live way out in the sticks there should be some 5Ks this spring and summer. Most local 5Ks cost 10 to 20 dollars to enter, do a few and lean from it, then when you are doing a high dollar Disney race you won't be making the rookie mistakes like going out to fast and suffering the rest of the race.

To reward everyone for this, any miles you do in an organized race will count double.

WISH Panda"

So, I take it this means miles in races are doubled, but not time. Would make sense to me...like bonus miles on airlines or something.

This has been a bad week for me on my trips to the gym as I have been dealing with an injury to my kneck that has been keeping me down. But in the last 2 days I have been able to do another 12 miles at the gym. That will bring my weekly total to 25 so far. Not what I am use to but considering, I will take it.

My kneck is slowly getting better and I can promise that my totals will increase.
