It is now at Tuskerhouse for the character breakfast. Its now Donalds Safari Breakfast.
This is our favorite breakfast at Disney. Tons of food and fun character interaction.

Our favorite time is an 8am breakfast. You are in before the park opens and can walk thru a mostly empty park to breakfast. Often we are done by 9am and ready to hit the rides!!!!!!

Completely agree with PP. My kids loved this buffet, and it was great to have a big early breakfast and be done right on time for the Safari.

We did it in 2009 and 2010 and enjoyed it both times. We got as close to 8 a.m. as we could (I think we got 8:15 one year and 8:05 another). It is so nice to walk through the park before it opens, and to be right at the Safari when the park opens. Be sure to ask for the really yummy juice that they serve (they also serve it at Boma).

I think we've had the best luck with breakfast buffets in our Disney dining experiences.

I agree that this is an awesome breakfast - but we prefer to get a late DR,around 10:15. We watch the park opening show, ride the safari, grab fast passes for a later safari ride, and then go to breakfast, which by then is more of a brunch. I feel we eat more later (none of us are big early morning eaters), and then we have snacks in the afternoon and eat at a resort TS later. It always works out great!!

I have an 8:00 ADR and was wondering what time should we arrive by car in order to casually walk to Tusker. Do you have to show proof of your ADR at the gate? Been to AK before but never before park opens. Thanks.

Once I have been asked for my ADR last name, the other times we just went on in.... I would figure a 10 minute walk from the park entrance if you are taking photos.

We have reservations in May. Do we need park tickets to enter for the restaurant? We weren't planning on staying in the park as we head to our cruise that day. Thanks for your help!!

Yes, you must provide valid park admission, even if your reservation is before the park officially opens.

You must have park admission to attend any restaurant that is located inside a theme park.
