We justed booked the dolphin because it was a little cheaper than the swan. Now, I hope I made the right decision. We have
3 children. We are getting two rooms because we are traveling with 2 other people. Which resort is better with children and why? We stayed at the dolphin years ago, I don't remember very much about it. Need help...:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

There are both good, and a short walk from each other. The boardwalk is just a 10 mins walk.... some family activites there if you have a spare evening...

We just booked the Swan for the first time 12/28-1/02/04. Got a great rate for club level using teacher's rate. Choose it because it just finished the renovations and its smaller than Dolphin. Will probably use amenities in both resort. Dolphin is just beginning its renovations so make sure to ask where they are working when you check-in to not disturb you and kids. Both are really beautiful(go to swandolphin.com to check both of them out(oops, forgot you have stayed at Dolphin)!

We have stayed at the Dolphin in 11-01 & chose it again for our next trip, which is in 20 hours:) We chose it because of the refillable mugs (Swan has this also, but you have them refilled at the Dolphin), the laundry services are at the Dolphin (you have to walk from the Swan & carry laundry to the Dolphin), Tubbies the cafeteria, Swan does not have this, there is also a ice cream shop @ the Dolphin. We love the look of the Dolphin, we think it is more grand than the Swan & the rate was a little better. We are staying Club Level & was offered a great price that we could not pass up.

dahess - just a word of advice, don't wear a red shirt unless you are a participant in the annual "Gay Days" starting today through 6/9! I read an article in the local Daytona Beach paper that said that it is a tradition for the people participating in the Gay Days event to wear red shirts, and that Disney will provide new, other color shirts to any unknowing non-participant that shows up wearing red!
