We usually rent a car when traveling to Disney. This November, we're staying at the Dolphin. I know you have to pay $10 a day to park a vehicle at the Dolphin self park. We also like to make a few trips to attractions off Disney's site. Also we would need to get to the resort from the airport, and back again. I was just wondering if they offer any transportaions to area attractions. Or is the best thing to do is rent a vehicle. :wizard: pirate:

I would just rent a car if you plan to make some off-site trips during your stay. The Disney transportation is good from the Dolphin, but only goes to the Disney theme parks, Disney water parks and Downtown Disney.

As Gsmommy said. BTW when we stayed at the Dolphin in March we were never charged for our self parking. I think its a really hit or miss situation with the parking fee. We didn't have to show the parking attendant a receipt or voucher to exit we just drove up to the exit gate and she raised the bar. I think if you leave and return during your stay all you do is show your room key. Maybe someone who stayed more recently can chime in on rather or not they were charged.

I have been charged the daily parking fee each trip since they began the charge a few years ago; first $7, then $8, $9 and now $10.

Has anyone been to the Dolphin lately that knows about the parking fees now? We will be there in 2 weeks and we are curious about how much the parking fees have changed since this last post.

Thanks in advance.
