Dolphin resort - check your resort charges before you depart!

Hi all!

Just had a wonderful 10 days in Disney, this time we hopped around to 3 resorts so we could try out some new ones, which we loved! ( AKL, yacht club & dolphin )

anyway, Upon getting home, I received my guest folio with room charges & resort fee for the Dolphin resort, which was our 3rd and final hotel of the trip. We have stayed here before, and they now email you any charges made during your trip. We checked out on June 2 at 7am, and on June 2 there was a cabana bar charge for 56.59 added to my room. I did not go to the cabana bar at all during my trip, and I did not even use my room card for any charges at all during my stay....

I will say that my last trip to the Dolphin, which was at the end of August 2012 the same thing happened to us. Last day a mysterious charge to the cabana bar showed up on the room folio. So 2x in a row is kind of strange.....

I called accounting this AM & they removed the charge, I also told them how on my last stay the exact same thing happened on the last day, so it is kind of weird & they said they'd look into it.....

Anyway, check your room charges! I realize mistakes happen all the time, but it's always a good thing to look for any unauthorized charges!

It is always good to check your room charges, no matter where you stay.

I always make a quick stop at the concierge desk each night, to ensure my charges are correct and I can correct anything while I am there.

It will happen just about anywhere, so it is good to be diligent about it.
