Dolphin or moderate? Which moderate?

Hi! New here!

My boyfriend and I are going May 27- June 5 (5/27-6/1 in Disney and 6/1-6/5 in Universal. We aren't sure if we should stay at the Dolphin ($147 + tax/night with AAA) or at a moderate (hoping great rates come out soon). And I can't figure out which moderate to choose! Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for your help!

Are either one of you teachers? The Swan and Dolphin both have really good rates for teachers sometimes.
Moderates - CBR! DH ( we don't have any kids yet) love it. It is soooo romantic. We love the tropical theming.

The Dolphin is a great hotel to stay at. Ihaven't stayed since they remodeled the rooms but everyone seems to be raving about them. It is very convenient to two of the parks as you can walk or take a boat to them and there is much more food to choose from in that area.
If you do decide to switch to a moderate all of them are nice and have pros and cons but make for a great WDW trip. The best thing to do on choosing a moderate is check out the pictures on this site or one of these links and choose which theme you like the best.

Personally I love the Dolphin and think the moderates are just ok. Also consider which park you are going to spend most of your time at. We spend lots of time at MGM and Epcot especially at night so we love the location of the Dolphin. The boat and easy walk make it a great choice for us.

You also have sooo many great restaurants in walking distance at the Dolphin, Swan, BC/YC and on the Boadwalk. The nightlife at the boardwalk is great as well.
