Dolphin Lakeview

We have booked a Lakeview at the Dolphin for our stay in February. I wonder if anyone has ever stayed with a lakeview before - and if there is a chance we might get a room to see the fireworks from as well? Does anyone have a specific room number that they really enjoyed, or wing of the hotel that is recommended? It is for our honeymoon so I want to have a really special stay. Any tips welcome, thanks in advance!

Lakeview means you will be looking at the lake between the Swan and the Dolphin. The fireworks rooms are not included in those rooms. Does not mean you can't ask for it at check in or luck into one.

Try for a room in the "far east wing" above the 6th floor- that'll get you above the trees, but maybe not a balcony. Join Starwood, and even with no points, they may be more likely to give you your request. We could watch Illuminations from our "heavenly bed" last Feb Good luck!

we had lake view last June. We were on the 6th floor facing the Swan over a patio that comes out of the bar. We could see TOT clearly and could hear and see some of Fantasmic. But we really only looked out the window when we got up in the morning, so I wouldn't pay extra for the view. I got a free upgrade when I joined Starwood. plus they have a separate check-in if you're a starwood member.

We had an Far east wing 5th floor it was perfect, no balcony though. Great view of the Epcot fireworks, they even set them off during a rain storm.
