We are headed to WDW in three weeks and have two preschool-aged children. Instead of being in the parks at 9 for Illuminations, I was hoping we could get a room with a view of the fireworks so if they're up they can see them and if they're asleep, at least I can!

Any suggestion for floors, sections, etc. for a good view?

The best place to see the fireworks from Illuminations at the Dolphin is the furthest EAST wing in a room FACING EAST. You can see them from some of the other rooms in the other wings that face east but you need to be toward the end of the wing(s) so the bldg doesn't obstruct your view. The higher up, the better.

If you can't get a room facing east you can see the fireworks from Fantasmic at MK from a lot of the rooms also, that face WEST.

There are also some rooms mostly the rooms higher up in the main part of the bldg that have views of both if the room is on the south side.

I have always written on my reservations, "Would love an Epcot fireworks view, please." We've stayed 3 times and have always gotten a great view of Illuminations in the far East wing. There's really no need to ask for a certain floor--I've always found them to be very accommodating.

Hope you have a great trip!

Oh this is great to hear! I booked a room at the Dolphin in October, for my anniversary:cloud9: , and had asked for a room with a view of the fireworks from EPCOT.

They marked all over the reservation that it would be our anniversary and not to move BUT they had also said it was a request, and while they always do their best to fullfill requests there is a chance (slight) that it won't happen.

You've given me hope :goodvibes

We're going for our anniversary in August. Staying at the Swan. The reservation has been made. We booked a standard room. What would be the best way to request a good view and what would be a good view at the Swan???

Any help would be appreciated!
