This will be our 2nd stay at the Dolphin in November. We were there this past January and I loved it. We are only moving to AKL this trip because rooms went up to over $300 a night starting on 11/27. I like both the Swan and Dolphin but the Dolphin is my favorite.

I don't put much stock in the hotel review (especially WDW hotels/resorts) on TripAdvisor. I have read some and wondered if the writer was just trying to badmouth WDW.

I agree with this. Instead of a grain of salt, you need an entire mountain of salt when reading reviews on TripAdvisor. If you read through enough of them you begin to get a sense that there are many people who get their kicks by complaining about things.

No hotel is perfect all of the time. But it sometimes seems as though some of the people who post on TripAdvisor will walk into a room and if they see one stray piece of lint on the floor, they will report that the room was filthy and hadn't been cleaned in months.

Another Dolphin/Swan fan checking in! We've had wonderful stays at each hotel and have 2 return trips to the Dolphin already planned.
