We have booked this excursion for 1:00. I noticed on the form from Disney that the length of this excursion is 3-3.5 hours. If you interact with the dolphin for only 30 minutes what do you do for the other 2.5 - 3 hours? Can you explore the rest of the park? Is there snorkeling offered as well? Is this an extra charge? I didn't know if we should book something else later in the day or not. Our kids are 10 & 7. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!:moped:

Both after and before your excursion you are free to wander the park. They have great beaches for snorkeling and a nice protective cove for small children to play in the water. They do hair braiding, have a beachside restaurant (with strolling guitars players), and they also have a sea lion encounter that you can watch if you don't participate. You could spend the whole day there with no problem at all. I would book directly at www.dolphindiscovery.com . You can do the dolphin Royal Swim instead of the dolphin encounter....Mark
