There is another thread about this. But Japan has been doing this for years. Another thing real popular that really people don't seem to know or mention is shark fin soup. Fishermen will catch sharks, cut their fins off and throw them back in the water and they die.

...I hate sharks, but that is really too much for me....how CRUEL!

That's what I always thought about Sea World but is it true what that person said about their sonar being so sensitive that when we clap it hurts them? That made me start to question it. I still think Sea World above all others would treat them the best. They did make a statement after the documentary that said they would never get a dolphin from these hunters and 80% of their animals were born in captivity. That made me feel better. They haven't bought a wild animal in decades they said.

Yes, their sonar is so great they can even sense if you were pregnant when you aren't very far along. They have an intelligence level like ours....they are amazing creatures! You should watch the documentary--if you want to avoid the most gruesome parts of it, just avoid the last 30 min or so of it, that is when it gets graphic.
