What are they serving these days for breakfast in the lounge? Do they have the chocolate crossaints? What are they serving in the afternoon? Do they have the oatmeal cookies? When we were there last year at Easter they had stopped serving the chocolate crossaints and the big cookies and I was just wondering if they brought them back.:)

WE were there Last May in club level.I wish I had seen some chocolate treats..in any form..bread,etc..sorry we missed the treats you are describing.I remember plain but still it was a nice spread. My daughter liked the muffins & fruitloops..oh well!Coffee was very good.:earsgirl: :teeth:

We just got back from CL at the Dolphin 1/13. I did not see cho. crossants but the big cookies were served every evening. As far as i know CL is not open in the afternoon. I was only at the resort one afternoon to check though. We did enjoy CL very much. It was perfect for breakfest. They offered cereals, pastry, bagels, eng. muffins, breads, cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly, fruit, oj, milk, coffee and tea. In the evening they served one hot hordurve, crackers, cheese, vegitable crudit tray with dip and big cookies and soda. You could also ask for milk or bottle water. If we got in late they would bring us out some cookies to bring back to the room. I think you will enjoy CL.

Sorry Muffy, I meant to say evening. Thanks everyone for all your replies. We really loved the chocolate croisants, too bad they don't have them anymore.:(

For those of you staying on Club Level, please take note. If you have ANY special requests for a food item (or just about anything), please be sure to inform/request this from concierge personnel. I too, LOVE the chocolate croissants. On my initial visit to the CL lounge in the am, they were absent. I immediately informed the concierge how much I Enjoy these, and would love some for the next am. Indeed, she set aside FOUR, and had them ready for moi the next am. These are so delicious, with chocolate drizzled over the top, and a thin slice of dark chocolate baked inside! They may even be able to obtain some in the morning you arrive. We were there "late" near the end of the morning lounge hours. This is the reason I made the special request for the following am. They also obtained "chocolate milk" for another friend staying on CL. As always, it never hurts to merely "ask"! ;)

OK stop making me so hungry!!!! Can anyone tell me what is proper club level etiquette- is it ok to take the food back to your room or are you suppose to eat in the lounge(breakfast).

My DS one morning came to the Club Room and made his bagel and took it back to the room so he could pop in the shower right after his older brother who was already showering. I really enjoyed the peace that the Club Room provided each morning as I sat and had my coffee and breakfast at a small table and comfortable chair next to a window with a beautiful view of the "world" waking up. DH took his coffee in the styrofoam cups provided and went for an early morning walk around the property.

I believe that the CM in the Club Room are quite gracious and accomodating and didn't seem to mind if you wished to take something back to your room. Of course, you do sign in at the CL desk each time you are there.

At the Swan, MamaT never had any problems with us taking anything back to the room. DD slept in a couple of mornings so Chris & I let her sleep with the DND sign on - made her a small breakfast to have when she woke up. Worked wonderfully!!!
