We stayed at the Dolphin 3/15-3/25 in a balcony room - beg for room 8029 people...i can't imagine a nicer view - the Epcot ball every night and fireworks at 9 - anyway we had the 2 double beds and they were ok....not heavenly beds - but I'd rather stay at the Dolphin than the Swan anyway. The Dolphin is just more "grand" - I was quite anxious hearing about the "ugly" "garish" surroundings at the hotel - and they are a little out of the ordinary, but the room was just fine and the view and the balcony - well, my husband and I felt relaxed by the end of the 2nd day - which is unheard of for us....we had gold starwood status thanks to this dis board and Starwood Am Express which we had a little trouble getting a customer service person at Am Express to give us - but we had the best room - probably because I just asked - my dh and I had not been getting along and I just wanted things to be perfect and HOLY CRApola - we had an amazing view and saved lots of money and tips eating breakfast with our club privs and munching snacks for dinner at club level - so only one real meal out -
I love the slide at the Dolphin - made me giggle and I am a kind of *****y uptight broad - but I loved it. I loved the hammocks on the beach - and was thoroughly satisfied with the transportation - loved the boat to Epcot - and even the busses were rolling around at all the right times. I think God was being kind - or maybe the Dolphin really does have things on the ball.
