Is there any way to ensure a front row table at one of these dinner shows? At Medievel Times, you can buy a more expensive ticket. There is only one ticket price at Dixie Stampede. If you have been lately, and you have secured a front row, (or first few rows), please tell me how you did it.

Thanks for any help.

You might want to rethink that. I've noticed that the very front rows tend to be the victim of flying stuff from the arena floor. I wouldn't want to sit there myself.

The way the stadiums are set up, there are very good views from every seat as long as you're not right on the dead end of a row.

Hello. I know that at both the Myrtle Beach and Pigeon Forge Dixie Stampede, we have been offered "premium" seating. These seats are around row 3-5. From these seats they most often choose their participants in the shenanigans. Just ask when you order tickets!

We don't mind the flying stuff. We don't mind participating in the show. All of the family except me are frustrated actors anyway. My husband's eyesight if fairly terrible. If he doesn't sit fairly close to the show, he misses alot of it.

We sat about middle ways up and still got chosen to participate. The servers are the ones that ask you if you'd like to participate so I don't know if it matters where you sit. I would think they'd not choose someone way way up high though, just because it would be farther to walk down to get to the arena floor. If you do want to get chosen though, be sure to wear tennis shoes. You can't gallup around like a horse in sand wearing sandals :)

If your husband has poor eyesight as you say and you feel it is a handicap the Dixie Stampede people will bend over backwards to accomodate you with closer seating. My mother forgot her glassses when we went and we merely mentioned it to the usher. About 3 min after sitting down eh cam eover and gave us front row. Little did they know that she has very bad kidneys and has to run to the bathroom ALLLLLLL the time. The bathrooms are above the last row of the stadium style seating so she ahd to run up and down the stairs. But we were grateful for the special seating so we stayed in the lower level. Also...the front row does NOT get you into the show. They pick people randomly throughout the stadium before the show begins (some "volunteers" are really plants but I don't want to give too much away). Front row does allow you to talk to the actors and riders at the end. The kids can pet the horses there or as you walk out go to the stable and pet them again. Great time for the whole family

Thanks for the help. We're not trying to get picked to be in the show. I just want a better view for my husband. Thanks again.

I'll answer my own question in case anyone else cares. If you call to make reservations, you can pay a small premium for a front-row table. This option is not available on the website.
