Do they provide you with cutlery at the dixie review show? I know that;s an insane question but I just got braces and I can't bite into anything, and my boyfriend would really like to see this show! But I've heard its all food you pick up with your hands and bite into....

Nope you eat with your hands. You just tear the chicken off the bone. I went with a teenage group with lots of girls with braces and they all did just fine tearing and shoving! LOL!

It's a really fun show! As CarolA said, you can just tear & shove. Nobody will care!

:wave2: I know when we went to this show in Myrtle Beach we asked for a fork for my DS (he didn't want to use his hands) They happily brought us a few of them. :)

I was there in March. I brought plastic cutlery in my purse as I had read there wasn't any. They did provide us with silverware and I didn't need to use the plastic I brought.

I thought the show was OK. I liked Arabian Knights better for the choregraphy and pagentry. The food at DS was much better though. In fact, it was very good. We are just mainly into the horses so we liked AK better. Having said that, my 8 year old loved the sillyness of this show and the whole Ho-down atmosphere.

I also took along plastic forks and knives the first couple of times we went to the one in Pigeon Forge, but after that I gave up and ate with my hands. It isn't really that bad, but if braces were an issue, I'd throw a set in my purse.

The one thing we still do is bring along a couple of Rubbermaid containers for the leftovers. They do provide doggie bags, but they're not very substantial. Since my two youngest don't eat much of the food (in fact, DS6 didn't eat a single bite) we always have tons leftover. We ate chicken for a week after our recent visit.
