Not that I ever went because all Dinner shows IMHO are rubbish...

Noticed it appears to have closed down? Didnt last long !!!!

The same show stays booked full every day in Pidgeon Forge TN. I guess there was just not enough interest in Orlando or maybe too much else going on there.

Supposedly the shopping center next to DP theatre was wanting the land. At that time the news was reporting DP reps stated they rec'd an offer for the land too good to turn down.
Just this week it was announced the deal went belly up and the shopping center claimed their offer was just showing interest -- not an actual offer.
So the land, and building, is back on the market looking for another buyer.

And what's even funnier is that a Dixie Stampede spokesperson was quoted as saying that they're looking for somewhere to reopen in the area. Uh duh! You don't have a buyer for the property anymore and you have a ready-made facility. I call B.S.!

Any truth in the rumour that they used to recieve a lot of complaints from guests complaining because they were expecting to see Dolly herself !!!!

If this were the case it would happen at all of their locations.

Something doesn't sound right here. I am sure that the outlets had to pay some big fees to get out of the deal and they are looking to get more by still selling the property and then buying something cheaper somewhere else.

I agree that something does not sound right. If there was never a deal, then Orlando Premium Outlets would not have to pay anything out of it. I think they just wanted rid of the show and used the fact that Orlando Premium Outlets was showing interest as an excuse to close the show. The only thing that I do not understand is why it took Orlando Premium Outlets nearly a year to deny that they have bought the site.

Yes, and when it happened Dixie Stampede said, "We have to close down NOW! They want the property NOW!" which put their workers out of a job with virtually no notice. I wonder if the supposed deal was just an excuse for them to close so abruptly.
