Hello everyone. I'm wondering where the closest dollar store is, to the Formosa Gardens area. We'd like to stock up on paper good, cups etc. for the villa once we arrive in Orlando.

Most places have dishwashers. Why not avoid all the paper waste and just use real dishes?

Thanks for the link Purseval. Many of the $ stores here have off-the-wall names so I wasn't sure about names in Orlando, but thanks. That was helpful.

swilshire, there will be 13 of us (5 ranging from pre-teen to teen) so that could end up being a LOT of dishes per meal. We'll only be there 7 dys. and I'm NOT interested in being chained to the kitchen, cleaning & loading & unloading the dishwasher repeatedly (though the kids usually love helping out too). The thought of how kids eat & drink practically around the clock made me cringe when thinking about keeping dishes clean.

Although, I'm sure the dishes will also get used, I'm thinking paper plates & cups (napkins) will be much simpler to use and not very costly.

I totally understand with that many people. Even when just six of us go, we sometimes have to run the dishwasher twice a day. I always make the kids UNload it, but loading always seems to fall to DH or myself.
