Dollar Rental Economy Car For $120.99 Week in Nov.

After months of a $141 per week rate on economy cars at Dollar for Nov., yesterday they dropped to $120.99 and I locked it in. It looks like the other types of cars are still high. Hope this helps someone. BTW, I didn't use a code.

I would suggest you keep checking the rates, (daily if you can). I did much better than this last November 3-17, 14 day rental. Even if we had only taken a week it would have been the same. It was $109.00/wk for an intermediate car (Dodge Intrepid) from Dollar. I believe I booked it sometime in June. I will admit though the situation of the travel industry was quite different last year than it is now. I use CarWiz to monitor rental rates.

Thanks for the CarWiz idea. Last March we got an Economy for $99 per week so your rate for an intermediate would be about right. It was just in the last 4 months or so that the rates jumped up and I failed to lock in the old rate. All the rental companies on site have cut their fleets in response to lower travel traffic so I'm not optimistic about getting much better.
