Dollar pre paid question

I made a reservation with dollar for next month. In the past when renting with Alamo, we always chose the pre paid gas option-where you pay the going price for gas at time of rental, then you can return it close to empty. I see dollar has that option, but when making the reservation on line, I don't see where I can add it in. We have the dollar express, so really would like to avoid the counter, does anyone know if this can be added on to an existing reservation, or would I have to stop at the counter and add it on then? Thanks!

As you are leaving the garage, you have to show your license and credit card. You add the fuel option then.

Makes sense that they wait to charge since it is unknown what vehicle will actually be rented and the fuel tank sizes will vary.
