Dollar Minivan Pres Week $257 inc. taxes

Hi. I was just playing around with car rental rates for our trip 2/18-2/25 (President's Week) and I found a base rate of $203 for a minivan through Dollar. After taxes there was an estimated total of $257. No one else could touch that price. I went through all the companies and used all the codes and this was by far the best. I didn't use a rate code for Dollar, but there was a rate code of RCUW5 in the details after I got the quote. I think this is less than we paid this past Pres. Week. Hope this helps someone.

My rate was for MCO. I did not punch in any codes-- just the dates-- Feb 16-23 Fri to Fri. Hope it works out for you!

My rate was for MCO also. I hope you get it. I just tried it again for my dates the 18-25 and it is still coming up at $257. I didn't plug in any rate either. I put a minivan in as my car choice.

Thanks. I figured it out....we are going for 8 days at that time. If I do a one week rental, I get the same great rate. (And I've been looking around - that is a fantastic price!!) As soon as I put in the extra day, the weekly rate goes over $300 and with taxes it's in the high 300s. Ughhhh......

I don't have airfare yet..waiting on JetBlue. Maybe I will book this and leave Sat. am instead of late Friday night.

One more question...actually a few:

Is Dollar right at MCO? (No shuttle bus to take to get car????)

Is there a counter bypass program (like National) where you can just get your car and go?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you jackdis, I was away from the internet for a few days. Dollar is onsite at MCO - no shuttle bus needed. they do have a fast lane program to help speed things up. Good luck.

Thanks, Amy......I've booked it for Feb. Now only if I could get a good deal for August....we're going for 5 days and it's almost the same price, and it's not for a minivan! Have a great, great trip!!!!!!!

Hi, Dougsmom98,

Try going to the Southwest website and looking at their specials. We're using Dollar. The code is WN333.

In mid-August you can get a minivan for $241 for a week, inclusive of taxes and fees. Believe me, that's the cheapest I've found so far. (Have been like maniac trying to find the lowest price and scouring these boards for someone else's good fortune.)
